May 29, 200620 yr i would never report a friend, except they would hack like hell but multiple loging and drop trade... not worth risking ur friendship
May 29, 200620 yr No you don't get penalized by Jagex for NOT reporting your friends lol. Usually I let my friends have more slack than others, I would only report if something was seriously wrong :)
May 30, 200620 yr Look at this situation: [your friend has been with you since you started runescape and you always go pking and stuff with him] Friend: So, how old are you anyway? You: *report* [is this necessary?....the answer is NO] If they are your friend, you should not report them unless they tried to scam you or do something to harm you and that would affect you in any way. BUT, just don't tell them the exact location where you live and you are safe.
May 30, 200620 yr thats like lets say you dont drink, but u know where the party is that night...do you tell the cops...hell no..they are your friends, and it shouldnt bother you.. thats my feelings...why would u rat out ur friends...ok, so they break some rules...rules are meant to be broken, they take the risk of getting caught, but they also trust you not to report them. In my eyes, if you report them, your not a true friend. Also, what do you think reporting them will do for you? Make you a player mod, heck no! your friends might get banned, and you'll have no one irl to play rs with...IMO...reporting a friend is just low! I'm sure i'll get a lot of reply's to this one
May 30, 200620 yr on of my mates has 116 combat, 99 woodcut and about 60m total exp. i saw him doing muliple login with another account of him. he gave the other account some willows and we had allot of fun just joking around. i know its against the rules and i think he also knows it. but hell no, im not going to report friends. its their responsibility, not mine. i play by the rules so its not my problem. i wouldnt want to get band, same goes for him. thats just me...
May 30, 200620 yr I would not report any of my friends as simple as that. "Boredom got me playing, Boredom stops me from playing. It's a vicious cycle."
May 30, 200620 yr accountsharing and having multiple logging in are the rules where this happens most. in private chat my friends think that it is safe to say things like "in the summer i go on to my friends account." and "ok i just wanna smith ......... and transfer it too my other account" i think it is just ignorance and doesnot effect me at all. i usually tell them it is against the rules because sometimes they do not know that it is i also tell them that they should becareful who they tell about rulebreaking. but i am wondering should i report them they are not really hurting the community and me. Also can i get in trouble by Jagex if i do not report them? depends if he has permission don't report if it his bro/sister's acc or if they have permission from a friend coz they don't have the net. Do report if u suspect he has hacked it or found out the pass without his m8s permission Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
May 30, 200620 yr ill report anyone who is doing something bad it only helps me become a p mod That seems kind of pathetic to me... You'd risk losing a friend (maybe one of your closest friends at that) in order to achieve a silver crown by your name by selling out to Jagex? All in all, It depends on how much respect and/pr loyalty you have for the player in question. If you value their friendship, then you should probably just forget about the multi-logging, and forget it's happening. If you value the Rules more than the player, then you probably should report, or at least do something about it. As another person said earlier on, you shouldn't let someone make the decision for you. It's your choice.
May 30, 200620 yr What Ill do, ill tell your friend who does that that it is against the rules and you shouldnt do it. Even if they continue to do it, still dont report them. They are your friends. You wouldnt want to maybe lose a relationship with your mates just so you can get 1 little person stop account sharing.
