crackfox04
Question here for people who've reached the 20 room limit - do gardens count as an actual room?
gonpost
Guys, remember, even Jagex has only so much hard drive space to store your houses on. They don't want people to spam 100 rooms for their house and take up loads of disk space... Runescape Name: "unbug07"Expand your mind.
Hobgoblin11
Gardens do count as rooms. Altogether, you can have 20 rooms. Full stop. It is not 20 on one level, or anything like that. Regardless of your level, or how many levels you have to your house, all of the rooms you build, cannot add up to more than 20. This includes gardens as a room. Clear enough? 99/99 Fletching, 99/99 Cooking, 96/99 Strength

misterxman
They should update so each room can hold more things. Like the skills hall, they could add a mining section, and many other skills since right now it's a fairly empty room. MD666
Yea I agree with xman, compared to a real life house, the rs houses look so boring and empty, even when full. Then again you have to think about the size of the rooms and the number of people that may have to fit in them.
kingjeff
20 rooms . . . well, It won't be a mansion, but it'll make a nice little cottage :D I swear some of you people would think it was a fair update if we had a lever you could pull which gave you 99 all stats and any item you liked. ----- Paul Gower; Runescape Senior Content Designer
poiuytreza2
About the code.. With the new game engine, they changed a lot to make it easier to add bank space (yay for members in the future - this used to be a real pain in the * for the programmers) and to store your houses. Remember that when you are in your house there is no need to load any other area and there are a lot less items they need to care for. If you build a room, they just save a number for the type of room, and that room has a table of elements wich are occupied (different codes for chair1,closet,..). A nice 20*50 table of integers or even chars would do the trick. But I just want to see you build a house of 20 chambers and use each of them at the same time  (even in a party) --- Since januari/februari 2001 ---The Grand Exchange Search Extension
pop
not sure, i havent reached my max yet. But sometimes when you level up, you get a "you can now build 8 rooms" come up, im not sure if its 8 rooms extra, or 8 rooms total, because im sure ive got 13 rooms (2 bedrooms, kitchen, teleport room, workshop, combat place, games, stairs, 1 room upstairs, alter, study and that eating room) rsn = popeater.
