Blaze The Movie Fan
Well, here is a list of solutions for you. [*:2b1wqbmg]Set up your bank pin. But since you took it out of bank, Bank Pin wouldn't help. [*:2b1wqbmg]Don't download cheating programs. They are Cheating program. But you aren't using cheats in game, the designer is cheating you. In other words, hacking. [*:2b1wqbmg]Set your recovery questions. And don't let them be simple. "Who's the president of the US?" "George Bush" this is easy, since everyone knows that, do something like "What's your mamma's full name?" nobody knows that. So it's hard. [*:2b1wqbmg]The best thing I do when I lose my money is to steal from knights. It takes a long time, and these aren't the best way to get 23M quickly. But I can have about 50K an hour with knights. I'm lvl89 thieving by the way. If you think stealing is wrong don't do this. [*:2b1wqbmg]Have your passwords and pins different from other sites. Leave the hacker clueless. "MyCar15" is an easy password. "sdgersase" isn't, but it's hard to remember, try something like your home modile number, hackers couldn't find that out. These solutions won't get your money back but they will prevent your account to be stolen again. The best thing to do is to be careful. I hope you get your money back some day. I understand it's hard to get this money. Don't worry, just be careful next time. Nobody can help you get your money back, not even Jagex. So be careful. And remember, RS password must be different from other passwords. This is a game, hard optained skills. RS isn't a message board. If you lose your account from a message board you can go to new one. But this game is only 1 of a kind. So be careful.
Noctis
Did you check your bank to make sure that it didn't return to the bank? Stupid question I know, but just making sure.

Captaingoodguy
I just don't take my money out of the bank until I am on the world where I will buy/sell, and so far I have never had 23 million go missing (I've never had more than 2 mil at a time, but same idea, never lost it suddenly) Goals: 80/80 Range, 75/90 Strength, 77/85 Attack, 64/76 Fishing and crafting 31k natures (o.O)

I would seriously question a persons mentality if they thought stealing was wrong while they nonchalantly killed an innocent man walking the streets in Runescape. Back on topic I'd also suggest scanning your computer for anything that could have caused your account to be hacked as well.

Gold_Tiger10
Something similar happenned to me yesterday. I was on Ape Atoll, I left and arived on Crash Island. Of course my monkey greegree removed itself from my hand(as usual) and then I got back to Gnome Stronghold. I finally noticed that my greegree was gone! I was like "wtf jagex". It pissed the hell out of me, I thought it had something to do with the new POH and server problems. I still believe that to be true. here! It pissed the hell out of me, I thought it had something to do with the new POH and server problems. I still believe that to be true. That happened to me as well. But my problem was that my pack was full, so when it was wrenched out of my hand it didn't have a space to occupy. It must have gone on the ground (either on Crash or next to boat on other side ... dang I didn't think of that at the time, lol.) So the solution for that problem is to change to human (or wield your weapon) right before boarding the boat for Crash Island. Claudius, my sympathies for your loss - that really stinks. It HAS happened to me before, though not with anything quite that valuable. Presumably the software somehow thought I clicked to drop while I was waiting for my logout to succeed - I dunno. My computer is very laggy and I've learned to carry nothing valuable at all when I log out (I've also gotten random events and been teleported, lol). Think about it, though. You were already standing at the bank. You would still be at the bank when you logged in to the other world. So to avoid it in future, deposit valuable items before you log out. Wait to withdraw your money and valuables until AFTER you log back in to the other world. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*. sheepdean
theres also something that is called world 2 lagg - items will drop themselves on the ground, seemingly becuase they enjoy it, in laggy worlds like 1 and 2. this happens to all manner of items, i personally reccomend either a)withdraw only as much as you neeed - not a gp more b)bank everything of high value (if you can) before you log out Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all. sheepdean
i said like 1 and 2, alot of worlds can be laggy, and when there is 1900+ people, there is a very high risk of lag - dropping Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all. Mirror
It has happened to me before. I tried deposting something in my bank but pressed drop insted and I figured that out after it happened a couple times. I know it aint the same as your problem but just it is pretty close. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.
