Irish_Geek
So I'm finally becoming a member on Friday after four years of playing. I just needed some help on what quests I should do first to ensure maximum exp gain and money. I have done all but one f2p quests. I think first I'm going to fletch because I have 1k feathers in bank. Also, since I have a week to prepare, what skills or items should I raise or gather before becoming one? http://img132.imageshack.us/my.php?image=becomingamember4do.png my stats... Junkieman
Get that remaining f2p quest done. I'd have recommended training rcing up a bit more, so that you could craft nats, or at least chaos. Other than that, and raising stats a bit, theres not alot you can do to train up for members.
Scars
http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=454393 If you're wondering about what quests would be benificial once you become P2P then check that thread. As for improving skills umm it really depends on you.Though I'd say get 44rc,Improve your woodcutting & get that Range up. Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig! ora6
i recommend not getting members as it is just going to be a waste of money if youve only played for 4 hours. try getting all of your skills to at least 40 (not hard, just work on them one at a time). get all of the free player quests done too, as that will open up a lot of opportunities to you for members. liek omg rly? pokemama
A Guide for new Members is posted here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=317645 It will be added to the website fairly soon. Hope it helps. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*. Blaze The Movie Fan
Well, since he payed the guard my best guess is "Prince Ali Rescue" isn't done yet. As far there is no P2P quest that requires that quest. (none I'm aware of at least) but you still should finish it, that would be useful to access the desert from Lumbridge.
Junkieman
Ooo, get that quest done anyway. Thats like one of the best quests to have done on f2p as it is, saves alot of time/money. Everyone says he, looks kind of like a girl in the pic... As for the guy who somehow thought they'd only played 4 hours, I'd be amazed to see you get all but 1 quest and stats like that done in just 4 hours, you should have tried to pass it off as a sarcastic remark. Irish Geek, how often do you play runescape? For four years of playing, if you played alot I'd have reckoned on better stats than that? I noticed you only have 57 mining as well, if you plan on raising mining/smithing, I'd have said to get 60 before you get members so you can use the mining guild which is usually alot less crowded on members servers than f2p servers. Then again, with memebers you can use the coal trucks NW of McGrubbor woods, so maybe it doesnt really matter.
TheZephyrus
Go and play CW for a few hours. You'll be a lot happier than if your first moments of membership are wasted on drudgery, and you then decide that mems isn't fun after all. Or go get a d long and then play CW. That works too.
