Anyways, I'm thinking of going to Barrows in July when I become members. While I'm still f2p, there's tons of time for me to boost up my stats if I'm low on anything.

70 strength

 

60 defence

 

53 ranged

 

51 prayer

 

54 magic (but I have enough rune on me right now to get to 62)

 

66 hitpoints -.-

 

 

 

Combat: 81

 

 

 

What I plan to bring: 15 sharks, 200 bloods, air staff, full black mystic, full blue d hide, 150 rune arrows, 6 prayer pots, ectophial (I dunno if i need this but I watched a video and the person said it would be required... I myself don't know the purpose for it tho), mage short bow, tele runes to varrock, spade.

 

 

 

What I'm hoping to get: Any barrows armor or weapon

 

 

 

Comments? And how many kills should I net approximately?

Can you guys rate mine also, I am REALLY lacking in my stats (only played since last april, quit in december -- came back last week)

ermm I'm not wondering if my stats in general need work or not, I'm wondering whether barrows will be too hard for me or not..... Lolz

Those stats are good enough, just get 6 KC, it seems to work for me.

 

 

 

 

 

For the second guy:

 

 

 

Errm...Just get the ranged to around 50+ for ahrim and the mage around 50 (Use slayer dart as you can recycle the runes). Apart from that, nice melee stats.

only 6 KC can get me barrows? Hmm... I was hearing more around 10ish but it's a controversial topic

10 kill count is definitly the way to go as 10+ allows bloods and bolt racks and 10 even has a higher barrow item drop rate than 6 and it doesnt take long to kill a few things in tunnel too

what, my KC goes up even if I kill those level 77 skellies? Ooh I thought it was only the 6 brothers that gave me KC...

ectophoilial is a 1 click in case u die..

Go and get lvl 55 slayer for slayer dart... its worth the time and effort to train to that level... it also saves a ton of runes! I ended up 200 deaths from when i started doing slayer down a few hundred mind runes... but i mean they are 4 gps in the mage guild...

 

 

 

you get to keep all the chaos and bloods this way and you also end up useing as many runes as you get back :lol:

Well, I've gotten about 1k+ bloods in 30 runs, so it depends on your KC and what creatures you kill in the tunnel.

 

 

 

I'm using slayer dart aswell becouse it is really a cheap method :)

6 KC is ONLY advised if you are prepared to lose Deaths, and want to get nothing but chaos runes as your source of income.

 

 

 

I am currently doing 15 KC runs, and over 6kc, it only takes 3-4 minutes longer, but the blood runes is worth that 3-4 minutes. You also get higher chance of Death rune in the chest so you recycle more efficiently (you may lose minds, but it is very cheap to replace, 300k cash will get you 15k minds no problem and it will last a hell long time)

 

 

 

Ectophial is pretty much your only option of panic button/barrow restart button if you do not have a house with an altar AND Kharyrll Portal (which gets you straight to canafis), if you somehow got them, try and find a person with Mahogony Demon Lecturn and make 200 or so Teleport to house tablets, and trust me, it will make barrow runs a lot easier.

 

 

 

Otherwise your stats should do fine. I still recommend you to pray on ALL the brothers on the first few trips to get yourself farmiliar with them, then you can try not praying against the 2 lesser melee brothers (you would still have to pray against ahrim, since your magic and defence is low)
