bull912000: Mozart only has one "t" in it :P And it's "Saint Saens" Though I'm certainly interested; I have a genuine appreciation for music (i've heard of all those pieces I believe)

i'm a vancouverite too. Never placed money on Canucks; they've never had good records. Plus, Luongo is even worse than Auld... certainly not a good trade, I'd keep Bertuzzi ANY day...

kevinfangs replied to kevinfangs's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
haven't played RS since the last post in this thread. I think my farming's like 48. No longer a member though because of school. I'll continue working it next summer :D Thanks for the gl's guys :P -

It's reading comprehension, math, and writing. The SATs measures how well you will do in college, not what you have already learned. There's also grammar (that's part of writing maybe? I not sure)

took my PSAT on the 18th. Easy as hell because there wasn't a writing section. However, the current SAT is out of 2400. There used to be a Subject Test called SAT II Writing but they got rid of it, instead, an essay section was added to the SAT I because many universities wanted some kind of writing ability portrayed on this "standardized exam". The ACT, on the other hand, gives you a choice regarding essay writing. If you're going to some cheap community college, you probably don't need an essay. If you're going to Harvard, you obviously will need one... I believe there's an extra fee for the essay section on ACT though.

Physics Problem involving spring and friction.. halp me
kevinfangs replied to PDJ's topic in Off-Topic
the best way to solve this problem is by using energy. You are quite correct in noting that the force isn't constant throughtout the entire thing. Actually, the force -kx is certainly constant, but note the negative sign. Friction applies, thus the net force is the changing force (hence the deceleration and then the bouncing back). However, it is the rebound part that is hard to calculate (I should think so; you college dudes correct me if I'm wrong), so you would probably use potential energy formulas. (not sure which one you're using there...) -
I think Cards won by fluke. 5 consecutive game errors made by Tiger pitchers: Going down in History A wet stadium to trap your opponent in to make them slip and slide: Some pretty cheap baseball team Winning the World Series by fluke: Getting an award which tells you that you just beat a team better than you cuz u got lucky and you were the team-of-the-day Getting mauled by every other team in the 07 season: Priceless Tigers and Pudge FTW!!!

Okay, look me up on the highscores and tell me 80 farming is a plausible goal. over 80% of you will point and laugh. For one thing, I only have 900k cash. For another, I can't go online much now due to school, so 80 farming will come in like... what, 2 years? Yep, 33 farming now, my journey begins here. So my current inventory... 800 acorns, 1k willow seeds, 300 maples, and... somehow.... 210 yews.... I'm spending money blindly, but I'm gonna start with oaks. 8/24/06- It's 10 in the morning. I'm taking up some space in world 2 (yes all you merchanters who spend ages trying to get into world 2 and getting pissed off at anyone not selling/buying stuff, i'm sorry already. Yes, we all miss RSC, when worlds hit 2000 ppl, it didn't say full, it just said 2000. You could log in. Tough luck for the guy who gets kicked out :P. That was the good old days) But it's all because I'm trying to buy apples. 100 ea. Oh yea, anyone wanna sell me any? I got 1k willows to plant, I only have 19 apples atm! Anyhow, I tele around (sigh... another 4 law runes put to waste) the world and visit all my trees. From Taverly to Varrock to Lumbridge and back again to Fally. Heck, with all the people in fally I couldn't even SEE my tree. After about 2 minutes of searching i finally see it. And that was the easy part. Where the hell did the tool leprechaun go? (w00t for midgets....) So I find him, grab the spade he was holding for me, dig up my oak tree stump, and finally, after 5 attempts i get the stump out (well not a bad thing, each time the tree regrew I got 10 logs. 50 oak longs fletched, not bad considering my fletching's only level 43) There's my 33 farming. A long way to 80 tho.... I don't really want to think about it, but.... on the other hand, I'm getting wc AND fletching exp :D w00t. God knows I probably should have saved the oaks for construction (level 12 atm) but I spent about 200k on supplies already, might as well get a bit more conservant. Sorry about the next line, but it's always worth a try. ACCEPTING ALL DONATIONS!!! THANKS FOR CARING! That's that... I'll be checking up on my trees in about an hour or so..

good luck -.- I usually stake 1k and I make a big fuss about losing it. But now I'm a bit richer, but thanks to purchasing supplies for stats.... 25 mil down the drain. I'm not really a fan of anything along the lines of gambling or betting. However, last year I was on fire at the dueling arena. I was 73 combat then but I took out level 85s with a dds. But that was like staking rune legs so no big profits

Tip.It Times Presents: Different Strokes for Different Folks
kevinfangs replied to Kiara_Kat's topic in General Discussion
Lol so what? He's not saying that people aren't allowed to follow certain paths or, "social norms", but rather, he believes in the fact that everyone should have rights without being insulted or abused. Think of it as promoting a way of gaming which isn't forced or one-sided :D Dragn, good article, it's nice to have someone point these things out. =D> -
Good old days man, thanks for the memories :D I still remember XD

God is omnipotent, meaning that He can do all things which are intrinsically possible. It follows that He cannot do those things which are intrinsically contradictory, nonsensical, or otherwise impossible. Non-sense is non-sense, even if you put the words "God can" in front of it. Exactly. Contradictions are just pieces of garbage that non-christians throw at us to challenge our mental beliefs. I am Christian. I believe in God, and perfection in spirit is what I long to have.

Tip.It Times Presents: Construction; Deflation or Not?
kevinfangs replied to oddfaery2's topic in General Discussion
cool article, but then, are you sure money is being removed from the economy when we buy construction materials? Here's what's happening in my opinion: Person A cuts oaks: no money spent Person B mines ores and makes nails: again, no money disappears Person C raises construction by buying materials off these two chaps. Thus, the money is still in the economy, just in different hands. The only way money is actually "lost" is if you buy materials from a store, wherein the money "returns" to Jagex. Thus, from this conclusion, the only reason Rares are losing their value is because their demand is going down. Looking at the economy through individual people's eyes allows one to realize that once a person has invested cash in materials (not leaving the economy, just moving to somebody else). Cash for players isn't unlimited; spending cash here means no cash to spend there. Thus people don't want to use their money on Rares. Thus, prices fall. Technically, this isn't really inflation; only on the part of rares, not normal items. A correct view of inflation: People invest lots of money on their countries' imports, thus the cash flows away to another country. The currency weakens, and demand for that currency falls. The government calls up the federal bank and asks for an interest rate increase (because when interest goes up, loans are costly and people don't feel like spending until the rate goes down so then working citizens can contribute more money to the economy, wait for the economy to become steady, then soften interest rates a bit). However, this only applies to the full overall economy in itself. And as such, only rares are being affected. There is not much reason to be thinking that Runescape's economy is fading back unless you are a major rares invester. Duke, feel free to correct any of my statements if they seem incorrect. I studied Economics and Marketing a few years back, still remember some stuff but my foundations aren't the greatest :D -
I really dislike level 50 ten-year-old mods that spend hours upon hours in world 1 spamming up "hide" chat trying to sell rune plates for 80k each. Seriously, Jagex must have created "Hide public chat" for SOME reason. so in a crowded place you know when someone's trading you. But what if there's some pulse-having moronic mod right beside you spamming the server? doesn't that take away from Jagex's original purpose?
