June 12, 200620 yr Well this is my first time doing something like this so bear with me! Im gonna try making a low cost guide for construction! Requirements: 40 crafting Brown apron (For getting into the crafting guild) A pickaxe (I'm pretty sure any kind would work) Enough money to get 3 construction (Maybe enough to buy a second garden) Parlor (Maybe another garden) Now once you get your house and get 3 construction go to the crafting guild and pick up a bowl, jug, or anything that you can get water into. Then start mining clay until you have a full load. (You can mine this clay in the Rimmington mine and go to the guild to make them soft.) There is a sink right in the guild so start making soft clay. Now your about to finish the rinse, lather, repeat method. Well for the end here start making clay fireplaces and take off and so on. Then repeat it all over again. I havn't tried this one, but I'm pretty sure this uses little money. Oh and each clay fireplace gives 30xp so thats 10xp per clay and since u can get a load of 27 soft clay thats 270xp a trip. Even though this is slow xp it's very cheap. Now once you get 10 construction you can do ponds, but event though they also give 10xp per clay it costs 10 clay so you would only be able to get 200xp a trip. Mostly do the clay fireplace for cheap xp! Say what you think about this guide and I'm thinking of trying how good the clay fireplaces compared to making stone fireplace. If you think I should say something about it. Also, I pretty sure that a guide has already been made like this, but I was bored so I decided to do it so I can look at it to remember how to do it myself. P.S. Don't be too mean please! P.S.S. I'm gonna try this so poor people does include me... so don't get mad at me... Thanks to Dalcyte for some info I totally missed!
June 12, 200620 yr ok idea, but i say its easier to go to rimmington mine to mine clay. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
June 12, 200620 yr I cant get the 40 crafting.. BUT GOOD GUIDE! It helps those poor types like me that only have 500 gp <-- this one better work.... >__<
June 12, 200620 yr Your heart is in the right place but lets consider someone wants to get the easy level of 50 for instance. That would be 10,000 Clay (rounded down), thousands of trips to your house, and would take weeks. YET if someone were to Cut yews/mine coal/farm herbs/combat for low loot/kill for herbs or ANY of the other meadium methods of gaining cash for only a FEW days then they could afford the Oak logs and planks to get it there in much less than quater of the time. - My skills are now really, really lame ! Time to fix that! -

Better yet, just cut oaks. Since most poor people lack good money skills, this is a low skill requirement. Oaks are worth decent money now, and just sell some till you can afford money to turn your's into planks. Eventually, you'll be chopping yews or magics, which could earn you more money. But, at least you'll be getting started in this skill. Exclusive Legacy Mode Player He just successfully trolled you with "courtesy" and managed to get a reaction out of you. Lol
June 12, 200620 yr Author Yea... its slow xp...but i never said it was fast... and thats a good idea...but im kinda poor so i wouldnt wanna use money for construction xp...im thinking about showing on making umm brick fireplaces...but the only place i could think of is b4 the river salve...cause i dont really know how good the one in elves is... or if there is ne others

New sigzor^^
June 13, 200620 yr Cut your own logs. (oak) cws ftw RC laws and sell at 500 each. no, with the amount of noobs and the fact ess prices are going up and 54 rc is hard to hit, there is NO reaon to sell less. Sell laws, plank your own oak on the route to varrok planking spot, and then get a demon butler and build the larder. shouldn't have said it, but lets try to keep gp's in rs. shall we? http://rsdo.net/sigs/users/s/sharkeater75.png126 combat. 2001 total. 101 prayer. and off to go WoWin. WHEEE NO MORE RANDOMS!!!! -.-
June 14, 200620 yr Author well...not cause everything else either needs cloth or planks... unless u want to gather planks from whereever they r...i think this may b the best...mayb until limestone...and making stone fire places...but u would either need to walk or tele
June 14, 200620 yr The only free (collect or make without paying) materials are: Planks (spawns) + nails. Clay (mine and wet at Rimmington, no need to go as far as the guild). Iron bars Steel bars Limestone blocks. The drawbacks: Planks take a long time to collect from far away. Clay is only 10 xp per item, though circling the mine, the well and your house would minimize travel time. Iron is also 10xp per bar (10 bars for another portal) Steel is 20xp per bar - better to sell the bars and do Oak logs with the proceeds.
June 14, 200620 yr personally. i spend a few days killing guards getting as many clues as i can, sell the stuff i find (unless worth keeping) then use all that money on construction. i got 2 level 30 that way. only took bout 200k i fink.
