This morning a man(no name) came up to me and said he was a tip.it staff member, making a guide for blue dragon killing. It sounded fishy but he seemed sincere. He first asked me to kill a few blu drags and he would record it. I killed a few and he said "ok now its time to show what happens when you get hit by the fire." He told me to bank everything so i wouldnt lose anything. I did and when we got there he traded me four blue mystic tops and said it was payment. I accepted and went to die. When i died i saw i kept the four mystic tops over whip. So if someone tells you they are something or someone, dont belive them unless you know for sure. I hope that my loss can be someone's gain. Tough luck but that scam is relatively old, what was his excuse for giving you the stuff? But he obviously did some research, I mean he knew you were a member of tipit didn't he? If I only brang one item into the wild, how would they give me the mystic top and then I'd lose my drag chain? I'm guessing it also protects over that too? titanides Posted June 13, 2006 Share Posted June 13, 2006 OK OK everyone listen to this plz...well i of course one time pl tryed to scam me for whip in that same kinda situtation well im gonna tell a different warning that u should all wactch out and its more devious and less obvious well i had just got 70 attack bougt y whip or wutever..i was fighting lessers on karajma with whip... i need to charge up my glory so i rub my games necklace and head for the heroes guild.....i go into the besment... and i think well lets go fight that blue dragon (didnt hav anti fire shield of course lol, but i fought easy fight lol... there was also someone else there ranging inside the inclosure.. well the blue dragon p00ned me and hit llike 21 easy... i was rele low on health... so im just about to walk out and the guy obviously clickes on the gate to close it..... and he keeps doig this while im still getting p00ned.... i just and i mean UST got out on 4 hp with my whip full rune ,glory, wealth.... wasnt sure i would lose my whip in that situation. but wut a selfish noob... anyway i said haha lol and that wa the end of that... just dont let it happen to you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
