tefda
A quest about the Varrock gypsy of course. According to Runescape lore the only way for humans to do magic is by runes and she didn't use any to use the Tempus Cessit spell in Recipe for Disaster; Neither does the Mysterious Old Man for that matter. What is she really? have you done swan song ? WOM DOES need runes for his spells. The Wise Old Man is the guy who stole the Blue Party Hat, the MYSTERIOUS old man is the one who gives Strange Boxes and teleports you to the maze. The WOM is a regular NPC which we can talk to in Draynor Village, the MOM is a Random Event. Also in the RS stories (which I wish they would expand upon) we have the origins of Magic. A wizard (from the East I believe) came to the people of Runescape and showed them his powers, several went off to join him and they learned to do magic without the use of runes (because Runecrafting hadn't been invented). In the story the main character who was just a boy at the time came home and showed his parents his new found "control over the winds" which is our modern day Wind Strike. Later on they discovered or invented temples to bind their powers into Runes which all Runescapians could use. So the story tells us of people who COULD use magic without the use of Runes. I think it's a lost art amongst the people of Runescape and even it's current citizens. I think the few mages who have made new spells (such as the animate Rock Spell in One Small Favor) are some of the few mages that still use Magic without Runes. I'm guessing also that the Mahjarrat (Zammorak's order that he belonged to) used Magic without Runes but eventually crafted their own Runes for their apprentices and whatnot. That's my two cents. darkblade986
Enakhra's Lament and Desert Treasure I noticed something of interest that may suggest a follow up quest linking these two. On the second level, the pillar in the center that shows the 4 spheres. If you examine the altar, it says something about 4 spheres of the elements of Blood (the imprisoned person), Ice (frozen fountain), Smoke (the furnace) and Shadow (darkened room). Sound familiar? Druidic Ritual and Demon Slayer Sanfew and Kaqemeex have the 4 special meats they needed, but how do these meats help them take back the Stone Circle that was stolen from them? Also, why did the Dark Wizards want the circle so badly in the first place? Delrith couldn't have been the only reason, could it? Garden of Tranquility The queen's garden is turning out nicely, but every so often, a mole comes around and digs up parts of it, forcing her to hire locals to repair her beautiful garden, costing her money. You must find and kill the moles that are doing this to her garden, and if you can't kill them, convince them to attack another garden. The Holy Grail King Arthur has the Holy Grail, but why did he want it so much? Is there some secret the grail has? Does it possess some ancient magic to which Arthur might want to take advantage of? Or is it simply a cup that Arthur so desperately wanted... Imp Catcher What was so important about the 4 beads? Why were they stolen in the first place? What special value do they have? Were they stolen just out of revenge, or do they hold the secret to some hidden and dangerous power? The Knight's Sword Uh oh! The kind found out that the sword we provided wasn't the original. You must help the Squire find the original and bring it back to the king before he has the Squire's head. Murder Mystery Why was poor Sinclair murdered? Wealth? Power? Glory? Investigate further to discover that all was not as it seemed... Perhaps the murderer wasn't in this by themself... Sheep Sheerer From what I've heard, there's a pair of penguins mascarading around Lumbridge as Sheep. Investigate into this and discover what they're up to. Swan Song The Wise Old Man's days of adventure may be done, but yours are no where close to being there. Aparantly the Sea Troll Queen was no where as nasty as the King. Now you must find and kill the King before the Picarous Fishing Colony is wiped off the map completely. Tears of Guthix The tears have all stopped flowing. Juna wants you to discover why they have stopped and make them return to how they were. Completing this quest would allow you to re-enter the tears cavern once every 4 days, rather than ever week. Yes, I just went though the quest list, remembered the plot line from each one, and decided what might happen next... don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat

Yes, I just went though the quest list, remembered the plot line from each one, and decided what might happen next... don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
darkblade986
Noctis
Fascinating story. Perhaps one day, there will be a quest that will allow some of the people of Runescape to rediscover this lost art. One day... just maybe...
