June 17, 200620 yr Yes, the hi alch value is always equal to the max price a specialty store (such as the amulet guy) will pay. Since his offering price goes down as you sell to him, hi alching is the better way to get rid of them all at once, assuming you ignore the cost of the nature rune. Since he hardly ever has power ammies in stock (keeping the price at highest value), world hopping a few times should get rid of your excess pretty quickly. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
June 17, 200620 yr Try selling them off for 1k or more higher than you'd get by selling to the specialty store or high alching first. Don't wanna lose all that money before you at least try. Try to sell for 3k or 4k or 5k before you give up and sell to that store.
