Q: i accidently clicked on recharging the crystal seed into crystal shield instead of cystal bow. Now i need to get rid of the crystal shield, but it takes me forever. does anyone know a quick way(s) of destroying a crystal shield?

Try dagganoths? Or try doing something fun while trying to de-grade it like pest control, or even castlewars.

yeah the only problem is i cant lvl up any of my melee stats --;

and try lumby caves without a light source :lol:

Pest Control seems best option. Get as many weak monsters on you as you can.

 

 

 

You said you don't want to level up an melee stats. What are your stats?

 

 

 

Oh. You could just turn auto-retaliate off and stand at Dagannoths under the lighthouse. Or Varrock Sewers, get 4 Red Spiders on ya. Your best melee def.

How many attacks you've taken. It counts melee and range I think.

If you take 2.5k hits (red blobs) while wearing shield, it's out.

If you haven't used it yet, I think it's tradeable, so just sell it and buy a seed.

Bank all items but the shield, turn auto retaliate off and find some monsters.

So you used to have a crystal bow that turned back into a crystal seed but were able to accidentally recharge it into a crystal shield.

 

Very Interesting. Didn't know you could switch from bow to shield or vice versa.

 

 

 

Anyway, equip the shield and go to the rock crabs and lets them all attack simultaneously. You won't be needing any of at the rock crabs and almost no chance of you dying there.

 

 

 

That should degrade your shield quickly.
