gonpost
Yeh, but then you can't move the mouse to the right. :| You can....it's like...moving your hand in and out sort of? But I hear you when you say that, and that's why it's not great for gaming...not extremely precise...but if saving your wrists is a concern (and for some people it really should be), then it's worth a sacrifice... Oy_the_Great
Gold's post reminded me of something. There are some GREAT mousepads out there that are like a godsend for people with Carpral Tunnel. I'm talking about the mousepads with the gel like pillow on the wrist part. Try one of those. So comfy... I've got those, not that I have Carpral Tunnel, but sometimes my wrist hurts as well. Not that bad, and when it does I just take a break. But yea, they are better than normal mouse pads. The best is still to tkae a break when you feel an upcomming pain. Your body doesn't give you the hint for nothing. I've got that jelly-pad as well, and I never have a sore wrist, even though sometimes I work 12h non-stop at the pc. And since all vibrations are theoretically sound, then it is not unreasonable to suggest that the universe is music and should be perceived as such. chaosgone
Both my wrists still hurt, even after wearing the wrist brace on my right wrist and taking an anti-inflammatory drug for almost a week. So, while I still have to go to work, I am going to stop playing Runescape until this gets better. http://www.chaosgone.blogspot.com
katha610
Take the hint your body is giving you. Reduce your time on the computer. Is getting lvls in rs more important to you than having a fully functional, healthy body? yup, that's what you should do. listen to your body, there is always a reason for the pain. go out in the evening, you're in front of the computer all day. do some sports ( not vollerball though  ) and don't ignore it and take pain killers get well

chaosgone
I play for long periods of times and my wrist never gets sore? HOW ARE YOU PLAYING THE GAME?? You probably don't need to worry. I work in front of a computer for eight hours each work day (I'm a computer programmer), and then go home and play Runescape for a couple of hours. So, I am using a computer for at least ten hours a day. And, I have been a programmer for years. So, this is probably something that has taken time to happen to me. By the way, after not playing Runescape last night after work, my wrists do seem to be better today. :) http://www.chaosgone.blogspot.com
frizoid
I am left handed but I use mice with the buttons set for right handed people because its what I'm used to so most of my hand actually rests on the desk and only my index and thumb are really on the mouse, is this damaging to my hand? I'll get a picture later to show you what I mean.
