axeraider70
its pretty basic but i think this is a nice little ball of shading. anyway, i was just wondering which one looks better, outlined or unoutlined? axeraider70.deviantART.com
The_Jeppoz
outlined. However there's a pretty major mistake in the bottom left zone where the shading goes with a rectangular shape  Other than that it's realy nice. Good job
eev
square balls... outlined always look better with pixel sigs :)
axeraider70
i got lazy tword the end and used the line tool lol. im just practicing my shading, ill try not to be lazy next time  Does it look ok? The_Jeppoz
the shading is ok. The shape not. The handhold is way 2 fat compared to the blade :)
axeraider70
this better? axeraider70.deviantART.com
eev
still looks like a thorn in a big hunk of wood, but better :) try making the base of the head a little bigger, make it cover the wood, not stick into it and make the handle about 30-60% smaller
The_Jeppoz
nah i think it's pretty ok now. Maybe fix the blade a bit. Making the handle smaller will simply turn the shading into a pointless colorfill. Good work there...but u need to build up some "screens" next
axeraider70
ok fix the blade, i was working on this for a bit and think the shading looks a bit messed up on the blade. what do ya think? axeraider70.deviantART.com
Lowgravity
when i do my pictures, i always have a invisible sun somewhere, and then i just do the light off that, so if the sides close to the sun, there wont be alot of shading, but on the otherside, there well be. Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(
