So I've seen a lot of 85 Slayer blogs popping up a lot. So I figured I'd stop putting this off and finally get 85 myself. I've put this off far too long and the time has come for me to get to it and get 85.

 

 

 

Now unlike many blogs I don't really have all that far to go. I don't know why I've waited as long as I have but it's time to get this going!

End of Day 1:

 

Didn't get to finish my Black demon task. Went to Dagannoth Kings with Leesters and Trojann2. Pretty fun trip, I haven't been in sooo long. Me and Leesters got ourself an Archer ring. So a free 1M ish isn't bad. \

End of Day 2:

 

I was finally able to finish my Black demon task. But before I could even get another task I got called to go to Dagannoth kings again. Of course I agreed. I went with Trojann2, Leesters and Cdub Foo this time. All are members of this forum. We had a GREAT trip, I'll just let this picture do the talking. This is the drops that we got between the four of us...

End of Day 3:

 

Didn't get really any exp today. Went to go get another task and got PMed to go PK with my clan. #-o So I did that and after a bit we got hammered by 'The' (we didn't have very many opts to begin with, only around 40). So I get another task, 150 ish Infernal mages, I get there, give Leesters his cut of the Dag King loot cash and get told that Trojann put up his vid of the King trip. So I watched that and then came to post this. :oops: I'm off work for 2 days starting tomorrow so expect a lot of exp, and most likely 80 Slayer! :D

Odd Occurance "Floating Coins" (During Day 4)

 

Here's something I've never encountered before. Just finished up a 133 Kalphite task when I noticed this....

 

These pictures are in NO WAY edited, besides cropping.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That's right, the coins are apparently balancing on the top of that Stalagmite. :-s

 

 

 

End of Day 4:

 

Got a good amount of Slayer done today. No unscheduled trips to Dag Kings or the KQ, so it was straight Slayer. Got 93hp today too. Should get 80 Slayer tomorrow or Thursday at the latest, so expect that update in the near furture.

End of day 5:

 

I got a lot of stuff done today. I ended up getting invited over to my brother's house so I went there last night. Just now got home and was able to update this. :oops: While there I jumped on his computer real fast and finished getting the last 130 exp I needed for 90 Strength. Also got a surprise when I noticed my combat had moved to 113. :D Very close to 80 Slayer too!

End of day 6:

 

I'm getting very very close to 80. Getting it tomorrow is a definite. Going to have to buy more cannon balls soon. I'm going through them a lot quicker then I thought I would of. But that's no big deal.

80 Slayer achieved! Going to finish up my Gargoyle task then hope for a Nech task. :D :D

They are the new defensive weapon that gives postive attack bonuses.

Added day two. These first few days have been a bit slow. Considering I can only play a few hours after work, and I've gone to Dagannoth kings both days. :P

Don't worry about time bro, Just keep trucking.

 

 

 

You could make it very expensive and fast if you wanted you appear to have the luck at dagganoth kings for it?

 

 

 

I reckon you could do it in two weeks, just super set the whole time, buy dharoks for the harder tasks,

 

 

 

Your almost there anyway, you've done the hardest part now.

 

 

 

Just keep going for it mate, definatley take breaks they are the things you need the most.

Being such high combat sure helps you :P

 

Guthans definately helps out and the cannon speeds it up.

 

 

 

It will still take bloody ages to get 85 though, as you can see you are around 55% there.

 

 

 

Rule of Thumb: Every 6-8 levels up you need to almost exactly DOUBLE your current experience.

 

(Good Investing, by the way, rule of thumb: Your money DOUBLES every 7 YEARS... I always thought that was a cool connection)
