Well, at long last I finally decided to try my hand at getting

 

that beautiful cape I see people walking around with.

 

 

 

I though I had the Stats:

 

 

 

 

the Stuff:

 

 

 

 

and the Supplies:

 

 

 

 

Now, I have gone on 5 Fight cave trips.

 

The first one, I died on the first 360 (forgot to pray <_>)

 

Second trip I got all the way to Jad, but died trying to safespot

 

Third trip I died on the 2 90's and the 180 (gangbanged)

 

Fourth trip I died Halfways to the 2 90's and 180 (erm.. wtf?)

 

And fifth and last, I died on about the 4th 180. (okay, time to post this)

 

 

 

Now my question is, what am I doing wrong?

 

One observation is that I'm not getting healed by my guthans

 

Not "sorta sometime maybe kinda not getting sorta healed"

 

I mean, not healing (no, I am not missing peices).

 

Is this a glitch?

 

Bad luck?

 

Does someone have some advice/guide for me to use?

 

 

 

I have a few guides, but they arent working for me. They

 

talk to people with a higher range.

advice. I need help!

I would suggest work on all your combat stats besides mage. And try to get at least 60 prayer (it will help). As combat plays a very important part in the caves.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, here is how I

 

go about killing the certain monsters:

 

 

 

22's:

 

Stab them then they come alone, range them

 

when they come in conjunction with 180's

 

 

 

45's:

 

[Attempt] to heal on them when they come

 

(once it's safe)

 

 

 

90's:

 

Run to them and use them to block 180's

 

when I can, or range them if it's safe.

 

 

 

180's:

 

Get them stuck and range them

 

 

 

360's:

 

Range them

 

 

 

Jad:

 

Not sure yet. Hehe.

 

 

 

So, when I get killed, it's normally because

 

I was running for the 90's and while getting to

 

them got hit for multiple 13's then finished by the 180

 

 

 

WHY DO THE 90's HIT SO HARD!?

I'm starting to resent the fight caves.

Well, I guess it's good advice, if not general in nature.

Guide in my sig, VERY good if ya ask me, vids and all

Don't use guthans, I did it with all ranged and got it on my 1st try.

bring karils, not black dhide, and bring super restores instead of prayer pots - they will give you more prayer at your level

And bring Sara Brews instead of Sharks, they are far superior than sharks in the caves. Your range, def and Prayer seems fine, though i would bring prayer up a bit more so you can last longer with prayer.

 

 

 

Against the 90's, Turn on steel skin when you are killing them, that way you will get hit less. A dose of sara brew and super restore before the wave begins also helps a lot.

Well, I took the advice I got, and used all ranging

 

to try and win. I must admit it helped a whole lot

 

(I got Jad halfway) but I ran out of Sara Brews

 

before I even got to Jad. Time to retool my inventory

 

 

 

So, I'm going to try again with all range.

 

If I get it, I'll have to worship Muggiwhplar.
