Every time i play CS:S it always crashes on me and goes to a blue screen and then i cant do nothing but reset my PC

 

 

 

any ideas anyone?

hmm.. Have you tried reinstalling it?

 

And is your computer up to date?

Is it a blue screen with plenty of white writing over it? If it is, write down the STOP error code. For example:

 

 

 

0x00000000 (0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

 

 

 

Give us that and we'll see what we can do. Also, you may want to take down the error message near the top of the screen. (It will be in capitals).

What are your computer specs? RAM, video card, processor, etc?

Ok first off the blue screen has no writing on it its just blank

 

 

 

And my specs r

 

 

 

RAM: 3Gig Duel Channel

 

HDD: 700Gigs

 

CPU: 3.4Ghz

 

I dont know what my graphics card is all i know it cost ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã100 lol

To check your video card:

 

 

 

1. Click start -> run

 

2. Type in 'dxdiag' (without the '). Click yes (if the window pops up).

 

3. Click the display tab.

 

 

 

Your video card should be identified there :)

does it matter wot my video card is lol..

 

 

 

it runs every game fine

CS uses a pretty heavy duty Game Engine , your video card specs and currently installed drivers are probably THE most important detail when tracking down problems in a game.

Same thing happened to me on BF2 just because i didn't have a good enough video card.

That dump file is corrupted for me.

Is this the true Gratz?!?

No im not sure my hdd is 700GB its accualy 750GB ( 3x 250 )

 

 

 

I think i know what the problem is now.. summin to do with drivers on my card or a corupted file some where
