Satenza
Heres a tip, don't display your email adress on runescape related boards \ With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

picorilink
just to put my 2 cents in...... Well, after searching for some patches for my msn.....i discovered the reason to all these fake emails..... I know the site, which i am not going to say, pm me if u really really want the site...... Anyways it is a little program that goes sorta like this From: [insert email here] eg. [email protected] To: Runescape Player Message here...... Ever Wonder why it says to send the email to a different address?? because if they got you to send the email to [email protected], they would never recieve the details that they are after. So yer theres my little 2 cents of HOW they do it....

S11m
Sending these e-mail is very easy whit some knowledge of php scripting. It will seem like it came from Jagex, bu you have to send ur answer to god knows who... Usually hotmail's spamfilter deals whit em \ Elfs creating a crystal Axe would be like GreenPeace creating a Nuclear Powered Harpoon for killing seals... Hitman247m
Email spoofing is relatively easy if you know php. I have made a script that could do that while I was bored, lol :) In short, never trust e-mail, and always make sure that if you reply to something, it is going back to the same address it was sent from :)

RAHK
i already know how the ghosting of emails work, its easy enough with a command prompt theres no need for any extra useless info to be posted You should edit out the address in the original post. Why? Because some idiot might click it... but then again if they are dumb enough to do that then they deserve to lose their account, lol. TheDecline
That's a pathetic attempt at a scam. If your going to scam, but some effort into it like Kryptix does. He was the guy that made that Rvnescape site that looked exactly like runescape's website login. It was like come vote in this pole and it had you log in and vote. "[email protected]" hahaha. I was emailed a link like that a long time ago. Since I was on a government computer that was rather secure (not to mention I couldn't play rs on it) I clicked it. After putting in fake names for 10 minutes I finally got bored. My favorites were "RSN - Phat Mule Pass - notgonahapen" and "RSN - Zezima Pass - You WISH lol". It was a fairly convincing site except the fact that every link was dead, lol.
