warrior woman fights off the hordes! wip

Featured Replies

Here she is, not nearly finished, just a rough paint and shade. And an outline of what she will be wearing. I know shes a bit buff, but she IS a warrior woman, warrior women need to be buff...

Why should we buy postage stamps when we can make our own?

rofl, it looks hillarious as a wip, it's like a mix of greatness and someone splattering ink all over her face, looks great so far, keep it up.

^Thanks Weeboab for the awesome sig!

I know the 'How to Make Tiny Carrots' (or HTMTC, as it is known among the elite pixelart circles) is in high demand.

nice work, loving her mouth :P can't wait to see updates. do you ever make anything sig sized lol?

"A disbelief in magic can force some poor souls into believing in authority and business"

can we see her without the cloths

nah jk i'm not like that...

right leg looks a bit too muscled i do wieghtlifting and trust me the (gah what mucle is it :-# ) doesn't look that puffed out... soften it up just a tad

all the clothes need to be sketched in and it looks like the solid colord items were quickly colored in...

the head is at an odd angle too far the the right its more sideways then tilted

her belly button is just a black splotch...

except for the ginormas mucle on the right leg it looks really nice and puportunal (yes i can't spell so sue me)... I would consider placeing a tad more clothes then the loin cloth though... no one would really fight in that little armor unless they were a god and no god would run around in skimpy clothes :-w

um....half of all greek gods were protraid half-naked+ so that wouldn't really be true.... =;

but i'm really liking this. sadly, there ae little kids on this forum that will get a little too "happy" about that...and you sig....atleast add a bra!

"cough"

The body looks great! And I dont think she's buff at all - especially when you compare her with those muscle women. :anxious:

I think, the only thing I would change is the face. Instead of a 3/4 view, you should try just a frontal view. :-k And the eyes and mouth are alittle too big for the face XD

googled : The rectus femoris or vastus lateralis...? lol *shrugs* But adding on to that point - one piece of muscle seems to have merged with one another creating one gigantic muscle. And I think that's why it looks so 'puffed' as Nazgul pointed out.

male_muscle_anatomy_upper_leg.gif

The muscle that she's missing is either the rectus femoris or vastus lateralis but most likely the rectus femoris...(I just call it the middle muscle hahaha)

Away :( -cheers all!

thanks :o i always forget the muscle names

You paint well, but the overal sense of dynamicism'turns me off'. She has he arms just so, and he legs just right, theres no looseness or flow to her, shes not a pleasing thing to look at (from an artistic design standpoint- I could say a warted hunchback looked pleasing, if his composition was interesting).

That and the previously pointed out leg.

Her left thigh looks weird, looks nothing liked mine at least :|

the coloring looks awsome.

speaking of greek gods, I recently found out that Zeus raped and married his own sister (Hera). so should his child call Hera "mother" or "aunt"??

i would go with mother to avoid being turned into a godlike fireball...

actually if you read through greek mythilogy (yes i can spell) then you relise that Zeus had some serious issues with lust #-o

Because it's usually softer and has to flow better?

Her left leg (if you was in her view), or her right leg from our view. The muscle is tensed way too much compared to the women, it should be like her left leg, the muscle tensed there isn't needed.

Also, when it comes to her knee joints, there very small! Also, the more lower part of her knee, looks like it's going the wrong way, maybe move it a bit more to the right (our right as if you was looking at her like it is).

Other than that quick-fix you can do, it looks very promising, looking forward to it's completion! \'
