Dead_Dumb
Ok, I just hit 75 Constuction, but the only rooms I have was: A kitchen - for remaking oak larders Two Bedrooms - one for myself and one for the servant And the Garden which was already there in the first place. Now, I want to build an gilded alter, but I don't want to waste millions, then find out I don't like the house/the position of it etc. Could someone maybe, design a house for me? I'll be very grateful :) Thank you in advance :D
tefda
You could always use a designer. I created one, it's in my sig and then Convene's Designer is spectacular but you have to download (although it is 100% Safe)

Tefda's is faster to use, but Convene's has more options, like the ability to save the room plans. :^_^: I drew that smilie, btw, along with a few more used by this site.Classic bloodveld for lyph3! Although I do like the new ones.Like a ninja, here I was, gone I am now.BUT! I may be back! Add my new account, Dr Bloodveld!
Paladin57
Quest hall or skill hall directly in front (north) of portal. (I prefer quest hall for easier access to glory, but you can do skill hall if you want to show off kbd/kq head etc) Whichever one you pick, put the other one upstairs. Put throne room directly behind hall. Altar to the left of the portal (easier for prayer exp, less walking). Portal room to the right (easier for canifis tele). Or reverse it, doesn't matter. Have a separate area to the south for games rooms, combat rooms, etc. Less important stuff, like studies, workshops, etc should be off to the side. Also, you may be daunted by having to download something, but tens of people have downloaded it and Convene is no richer than he was before so it's definetly safe  . Give his a try and you'll find it to be very useful. Edit: Because you said we could  I have it all except the formal garden, the throne room, the second bedroom, portal room, and garden. Otherwise it's all there.
Profins
I suggest this design for prayer training, as you will see, there is Garden which is next to chapel, just like skill room with, (I hope) glory! Near to there is study room in case you need some tablets! Credits to tefda for designer

Credits to tefda for designer :D That also brings up a really great point, what are you going to do with your house are you using it to show off, to host parties, to make Barrow Runs faster, etc. The purpose of the house is really important when building. I think if you're using it to show off, symmetry in the house is key. I have NO clue about Barrow runs or anything like that, so you'll have to find some more people who use their house for specific purposes.
Profins
Well, that house includes many purposes! As you see, I have left 6 rooms for dungeon what isn't too less! So one purpose - show off. Another one - prayer training, of course. And once another: Barrows too! :) (Chapel is in way to portal room, kinda slow though since you have 3 more rooms to run through!). Only.. It is bad for training construction for exp! :/ (You may see that workshop is far from dining room, only way to do it fast is to get butler next to you all the time) Oh, and for sake of construction, don't put portal in formal garden! When you'll enter/tele to your house, you'll pop up in formal garden!

remoteman
thats mine, the southern garden is the portal and the other will be stairs to the dungeon, with the obby underneath the throne. good for barrows, and entertaining i spose, aswell as getting xp. i like it! Ronan_XVII
This is my planned setup, and it is more for functionality than for show (lol - most of the rooms are only semi-furnished ;) It is geared for barrows, prayer & barrows-armour repair, as well as having a portal for all available locations :) The canifis portal is in the room directly across from the entrance portal ;) The workshop is also between the entrance portal and the kitchen so that you can pick up your tools on your way to make oak larders :P At some point I may include a throne-room directly north of the study, but I'm not sure if I'll bother yet.
