AP Tests

Featured Replies

So back in May many American high schoolers took the Advanced Placement exams (created during the Cold War, if you weren't aware.) If you do well enough on these exams, you can get college credits, depending on what college you attend. So, who here took APs? What did you think of them? Do you know how you did? Satisfied with how you did?

So created between 1945 and 1990? Err ok..

Well last year I got 5's on Chemistry, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.

Very satisfied with filling most of my college required social science requirement.

Last two years I got 5s in Calc AB, European History, English, Biology, Environmental Science, and US History. But because my college is silly, it barely helped me in terms of credit at all. They give you up to 2 credits for credit earned before matriculating to the college...

However, those two credits might enable me to take a semester off to study abroad, instead of doing it through the college, and thus save a lot of money :D

Everybody hug and spread the love :D

I was just happy that I exceeded my state tests.

APs are pretty cool cause they are important, but it really doesn't matter if you do bad on them. I got 5 on my AP Calc last year, this year i took Physics, Stats, and English i don't think i did so hot this year (didnt study :shame: ) but i know i didn't do terrible either.

hated ap bio test. Essays were easy. Just that they don't break down the multiple choice section.

Ap calculus AB was ok but some free response questions were hard.

As long as you've got your AP number, you can call in to find out your scores... ($8 for the entire call).

The only class i'l ever make it to AP in is French...:(

Maybe English if I start trying before senior year...

All AP tests are the same. Public, private, home schooled...All issued from the College Board.

but public school teachers dont change...

those are the same teachers that let people curse in class, go on their cell phones, and talk all the time during class.

atleast the ones around my area do. i dont go to ps ne more.

I called up the AP today to get my results since I was unable to register for some of my classes since they don't have my AP credit yet, my college that is. I ended up get a 5 on Calc AB, Statistics, Physics C: Mechanics and a 4 on Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism. So I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, even though I don't think I'm going to use the statistics or physics credit.
