July 10, 200619 yr I just got a guthix prayer book from horror in the deep quest...now im looking to buy all the pages...are these worth it? also how can it increase my range when i cant use my bow while holding the book? Does it just have to be in my inventory to increase my range? Can i trade my guthix book for someone elses sara book?...any tips here would be appreciated..ty :) 99 ranged90 hp86 crafting85 mage ...Eating players for breakfast since 2002.
July 10, 200619 yr Books are not worth it in my opinion. They are just another way to show off. The bonus given to you by the books vary. The only way it could give you a Range bonus would be if you were throwing darts or something similair, and had a book equipped in the shield space. Books are untradeable, and once you put a page in your book, you will not beable to take it back out. Once you have completed your first book, you may return to the person who originally gave you the book and he will give you a different one at a price. Offline and unavailable.
July 10, 200619 yr I think they are. You cant lose them, because you can always go back to the guy to get them back. They have a nice prayer bonus, which is good for a lot of things, especially barrows.
July 10, 200619 yr The prayer books are the only shields that give +5 prayer bonus, so if plan on using the 'protect from' prayers then by all means buy them. It's helped me a few times when praying. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
