ikraz66 Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 like a lot of other dedicated f2p'ers, i was excited to hear about the new security stronghold update, complete with new armor and a new weapon. So right away, i got the new boots, then i got the skull sceptre a day later. For a while, i carried it to show it off since is the f2p equivalent of the fire cape in a way :P (plzzzz dont flame me!!). Soon, people started coming up to me and asking me how i got it/what it is. no big deal....yet. I try to explain it to them. They want me to sell mine. I explain that it isnt tradible. they dont believe me. THEY DONT LEAVE ME ALONE. I also explain to the low-lvls that no one under level 40 will get it (i DARE you to prove me wrong). and they also dont believe me. I tried to help them at first, but a man only has so much patience :wall: :wall:. when i direct them toward other sources (runescape.com, other players in the stronghold of security). they still wont leave me alone. And this update is bringing out the n00b in everyone. the low level players are bad, but it doesnt stop there. I swear i had a few lvl 70s come up to me (i'm lvl 60) and pester me about this for a while. Because of this, i have decided to let the sceptre sit in my bank for a while. i guess the world (of runescape) isnt ready for it yet.... Proud owner of a Quest cape! AND yes im f2p the update stunk lvl 3's are walken around in boots and im lvl 62 took me 11 mins to finish it. My sceptre smells so bad that "noobs" fly away when they come too close to me. I'm negative, "noobs" are negative, so two - combined makes us fly away from each other. He's actually got a blog on the new blogspace, about getting the Skull Sceptre at lvl 23 if you want to check it out. :wink: On Topic...Have you recognised an increase in the amount of Rs girlfriend offers you are recieving lately with the new Sceptre? harrester1_ftw Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 my friend told me about the update a day b4 it came out so i came online and every1 had these boots but NO SCEPTRE... so i thought to myself if i get it il be one of the first to do it... well it was the biggest freaking mistake of my life!!!!! Noobs just wouldnt let go they asked me where i got it is it f2p can they buy it i just had to put it in my bank for a week or two... so now i can bring it out of my bank without "too many" noobs bothering me :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
