  1. id love construction for f2p:) your own house, it's a whole skill on its own and something to put my money in:)
  2. lvl 28 with earth bolt (died first time coz I forgot the shield, 1hit) still have a picture of it at lvl 36 wearing sara I believe
  3. hm I believe purple was 7mil three years ago but maybe it rose later in the year, I don't know, I'm quite old but not 1999, I do remember back when we had 5 times less servers as we do now:) and a lot of updates that we have now wheren't there yet (pay-fare, cook x, smith x, god armours?) lots of glitches still there:D and a whole lot less people, you could still go into deep wild, even with a phat on you would be pretty safe, or actually woodcut without autoers lol cities changed so much compared to 2001 I still play but stopped playing for quite some months in-between, what's wrong with being an oldtimer bubsa, some people just like nostalgia, you are right, the player makes the game and not the year, if people think you are a noob it isn't because of your year but because you react so annoying on things that aren't so bad.
  4. in f2p ud be fastest in world 1 buying big bones untill u see someone sell a rare in your price range;) big bones r often sold for 500each at larger amounts
  5. infinite big bone:D or if thats not possible, a blue phat/cracker to buy all the big bones!
  6. yeah, you can help them obtain it easier but they shouldnt expect you to give something worth anything between 10-200k because they randomly die with it, you could ask them to get you the equality in coal instead, most people can mine coal, if they can't they aren't even trying anyway. my friend gives rune sets for either the bars needed or 950 coal, wich I think is a decent deal.
  7. f2p and p2p both have it's good sides, in the end it pretty much comes down to people and what you like yourself, items or atmosphere? I think because p2p has more peer pressure on leveling you will have less fun in overall, getting levels begins to be very important and people will flame you for not being better then them, it's what they do, can't ever stop it. f2p has less skills to level but the skills that you CAN level are rather hard and can get boring considering in the end you will have to do the same thing litterally for about 40 hours, that means if you have a life you will need weeks, continiously doing the same thing, to get 1 high level.. on the other hand, the satisfaction it gives is really big and you don't have to ponder wether to firemake or fletch your logs;) on a bad side f2p has a huge amount of beggars, I can know.. 121.. and the equipment of my sig, they can be extremely rude or very nice, it's all up to the people, in the end more newbies get pumped into f2p then p2p, that's the only reason we have more beggars, moneywise some older people may get members early on but that's consideratly low, I have gotten a lot of good friends by allowing newbies to spend time with me, but you have to set up some kind of shield to keep the bad ones away and that can be rather annoying sometimes, and hey I take advantage of members just as well, without paying for it, people fletch for me, dhide sets is easy to get, everything I need is easy to get from members, from fish to strenght potions to a good talk, while staying on f2p a good tactic is needed to become one of the best f2p, always liked planning out things:)
  8. :P time goes faster coz you are so sleepy, you don't even notice you are already training for hours hey.. i already gained 50k xp! wow!
  9. look at my sig:D kinda disappointed though, considering you get a new damage about each 5 lvls but between lvl 95 to 99 with str pot and prayer you still don't manage to get that 1 extra damage:( so 25 with scimi
  10. before the mute is done you will be banned for macroing because you don't answer anyone :D
  11. he will come back to haunt rs:D life goal incomplete..
  12. if you generally just click systematicly you seem to get more random events then normal.. just click, eat, click, eat. (when training) 4 evil chickens isn't even that bad yet =0 and nowadays you get a nicer event, the guard.. always a challenge to see if you can kill it in time;)
  13. id probably try to sell my account on ebay in that case, it wouldnt matter if it got banned anyway:P you won't respawn in your bedroom after dieing. the money maybe could give the family something nice
  14. I would never attack scorpion kings.. especially on lower levels =0
  15. 99 att and str, 46 rc:( about 4 years playing
  16. :P a friend did it at 28 with ranger pure, no clue how though, you cant hide for those lvl 86 things I think, but he has a scepter so he had to do it somehow? like he said.. keep it in ur inventory or something then;) you cant use it while it's equipped anyway
  17. yay i belong to the rare 2% of the already rare owners of a phat that didn't get it for the money I guess phat is the obvious answer then;)
  18. what if you where an f2p and you could choose to have a yellow phat or all the big bones the phat could buy (if you buy each 1000 big bones for half a mil each, and the phat is well worth over 100mil you got tons of xp right there) so.. keep the always rising rare phat or get a lot of prayer levels, 80+ prayer from level 1. and why?
  19. someone needs to meet more girls :D durial v.2 ;) ppl being killed outside wild =0
  20. for me player 2 would probably gain more respect then player 1, but what I care about most is what they have in high levels, I'm a man that has a passion for hard levels (like f2p prayer.. 15 xp max per bone) and if someone put a real effort into levels that aren't easy, wether it's combat or skill then I respect that, in most cases player 2 will untechnically be further in his levels then player 1 as well, but you can't just put it down to these 2 choices because player 2 may be a pure wcer or something, it comes down to the person itself really, those 60 people that have better prayer on f2p then me certainly earn my respect because I know how hard it was, but that million of people that have higher fletching don't get as much respect because I know it's a very easy skill, you can just buy all the materials and fletch a profit together to keep leveling magic and fletching. it's about the effort for me, you get easier xp at higher levels but it depends on the skill.. either person can be admired edit: note that members do have the possibility to gain xp 6 times as fast as f2pers in some skills and note nr 2. lvl 120 have to put a very big effort into reaching it, certainly equal to having 17-1800 total for members or 1100 on f2p, how much xp do you need for level 120.. 40mil? something like that? 40mil for such a level.. don't you reckon that earns anyone quite some respect? it's still a skill like anything else :) but you are right when you say people look at what they can see more then the xp, i don't see a level 3 with 1700 total get begged and followed because they are admired so much
  21. i only pick up when its a little pile, picking up less then like 80-100gp is a waste of xp and money that you can get by just going on to fight
  22. what's most important is how cool they are;) wether you are young or old, there are always good and bad people.. age doesn't matter a darn thing in that;) just get the best friends you can whatever age eh:D
  23. the potion in one of the chests at maze event! (no idea what it's for either?)
