July 11, 200619 yr My keyboard is an azerty from Belgium and it has symbols on it like ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâò ÃÆÃâÃâè ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâç ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâõ ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâó ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâð etc... If I login to Runescape, I can type those symbols in chat. This when running Runescape in the Opera browser under Linux. However, if I click on another application (for example the SeaMonkey browser that has got forum.tip.it open), and then again click on Opera to play Runescape, then for some reason, all the special symbols in chat don't work anymore, I type the key and nothing appears. Other things like @ and | still work. It are the printable ascii chars that still work. So I can type the special symbols in RS only if I never minimize the browser that is running Runescape, so, if I never look at any other program or forum. And, another special thing: when I can type special symbols, I can type all of them, I can even type the ] symbol, but I cannot type the [ symbol. I couldn't even type the [ symbol before the engine update. So here a little poll to compare this weird stuff to your systems: -can you type the [ symbol in Runescape? -can you type the ] symbol in Runescape? -can you type any of the following symbols in RS (if they're on your keyboard): ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâò ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâó ÃÆÃâÃâé ÃÆÃâÃâè ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâõ ÃÆÃâÃâù ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâç -can you also type these after minimizing and maximizing the Runescape window? Runescape: Lodev (Combat level been fixed at 101 for years now, Total level 1500+, playing since march 2002)Arenascape: Lode (Level 240+ Warlock)
