Ard_Choille
I'm looking to purchase a Tablet/Pen Input device. Do any of you Computer-Graphics Gurus have any recommendations on a decent one to start with? - - My deviantART Page - -
TheDark
If you want to get a pretty good tablet without paying much and still having a somewhat big one you should get the UC logic 8 x 6 ( im using it for now since my wacom broke lol ) i think it was $80 something off of ebay. TheDark or Kevinnv on other forums.
Ard_Choille
Does anyone have comments on the Wacom Graphire4 4x5 USB Tablet with Pen and Mouse? It seems to be cost-effective but I'm totally clueless about what features to look for. - - My deviantART Page - -

Ouchies on the price, but I'm glad to know that the brand is good. I'm a newbie to graphics design. I don't think I can unguilt myself into spending that sort of coinage...even at $299.99 from TigerDirect. - - My deviantART Page - -
remoteman
I just bought a wacom 4x5" tablet from Hong Kong, god its cheap there. It's a pain getting used to, but when you do its great. :D I'm doing animation in media this term and it's been invaluable, good luck buying yours. fastortoise
If you want to be 100% sure of the quality of your tablet, go for a Wacom \
