Gunnit7
I totally agree with Cdub, Cazwise you were totally out of place, that attitude is even lower then some of the worst 'noob rs2 products'. You have NO right to dictate who has the right to have the experience of having a close knit community, its discrimination at its largest. Now, i started playing this game when rubber chickens came out, so i do not know much about rs1, but these stories are enjoyable to read. Especially the tree one. And if you judge me upon when i started playing the game, please grow up. I enjoy it when people talk and relate stories of the older community and events etc, but not when they get their pathetic superior attitude. what r arm bands? Im sure that the mod was just making a joke. ;) Pier pressure? I can just see you being threatened by a wharf or jetty because you're a teleporter. Yes, I can see a large wooden wharf uprooting itself from the shore, walking over to you and slapping you in the back of the head for teleporting.
rooneyrules0
It was good back on RSC, and early RS2 aswell. I remember paul and andrew used to come on and ask the players what they thought of the updates. Mods always used to hang around crowded areas (Catherby fishing spot) Where various mods used to walk on water (Mod Daniel was most famous for this) when I saw him in RS2 I asked if he could still do it and he said no because paul had taken his arm bands away :( I remember seeing Paul a few times early RS2 around new updates although I still do speak to him in game via pm I don't think he goes to the new update places any more. Paul asked me and a few other people who were in burthrope slayer hut at the time if they liked slayer the day slayer came out. ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¢Ã¢â∠

How many runescape players does it take to change a lightbulb?50.1 to change the bulb and the other 49 to complain about how it was better before.THE MODS THERE ARE COMPLETE AND UTTER IDIOTS!So why are you here? Gunnit7
Im not saying that the community is the same as it was before, I agree that it is different and yes it was better in certain aspects. But thats not what my previous reply was about, im not debating whether any mods are going to be on as often as they once where, if the whole rs community is as close knit as it supposedly was before, no my friend, it was about your discriminatory statement. Im not expecting everyone to know each other, for mods to come around and have fun with the players anymore, that time has been and passed, and i doubt it will come again, especially with the shear amount of players that now play this game. And im happy that you have accepted that you were wrong about the previous statement, and am happy to put it behind me now. 8-) Pier pressure? RAHK
they need to do that again, but with meaningless items. not like party hats but like arrows and elemental runes. Nah. Things like this is what made the game a lot more special compared to now, and if you weren't playing back then you don't deserve the privilidge of having a real close community and strong interaction between players and mods. Let me get this straight... Because I did not start playing a game at a specific date I do not deserve "the privilidge" of a better gaming atmosphere? Because I was in basic training, starting a family, etc. and not playing runescape I DESERVE a lesser community? Conversly, you deserve more than me because you happened to make an account earlier than mine? That may be the most asinine thing that I have read here. You think that you are better because of the date you logged on. I just can't believe that. Being an inch taller than somebody must make you wet yourself. Regardless of whether or not RSC was as good as most claim, it hardly gives you the right to judge a GROUP of people. Every person who logged in after your set date is a lesser person than you. You are better than them because of that date. Not just one of them, ALL of them. Every single last one. You are also so enriched by this date that you get to decree that all people after you should be scorned and looked down on with distaste. I wish I was have as "leet" as you. Will you have my non-RS2 product pixel babies? You realize that whether or not RSC was better isn't really the issue here, right? It could have been a 10 or a 1 and the argument I, and others, are making is still just as valid. Since you are so fond of labelling and defending that labelling of entire groups of people I would say that it is a safe bet that you are rascist. If, on the off chance, that you are not, how can you claim this situation to be different? Nobody who logged into only RS2 PLANNED on being on the recieving end of your scorn just like nobody PLANNED on being born a certain color. Oh yeah, nobody is impressed (yes I read the other crap you posted). Talking hard on the internet is about as impressive as winning the special olympics. Put forth VALID conclusions/theories, with relatively decipherable english/grammar, in some semblance of an intelligent manner and then you might earn more respect than a golden helmet. u loged in furst so u r teh 1337z0rz!!1!111!!!11 Grow up. :wall: On-topic: I talk to Paul (not MOD Paul) occasionally in-game. The guy is nice and always appears within a day of update time. He sticks around for a bit to hear how the update is going (well most updates at least, I can't be around for them all, lol) and then logs off. If he were to do the same thing with private chat on he would be spammed to death. The point is that the amount of people that desire contact far outweighs the number of contacts now. There are only so many people needed to run Jagex; therefore as the population expands, the employee/gamer ratio dilutes. While I think anybody who says "RS2 Product" with any sort of negative inflection is an absolute idiot, I do wish I could have had the chance to play RSC. Fun(ny) bugs galore, mod/gamer ratio high, new armor, a closer knit community (with obvious exceptions above), and a pking system that I never got to experience... :boohoo: I planned on trying RSC when I hit some random goal and it shut down a week before I made it. Meh, I would assume (and will continue to tell myself) that RS2 more than makes up for it. EDIT: I might be gone for a few days so feel free to shout your victory from the rooftops when I don't reply. Yoo r teh roonscape 1337357!! (GOD I hope sarcasm isn't as wasted on you as common sense obviously is.) DarkDude
Rahk, I completely agree with you, whilst I did infact play RSC (For over 2 years) I don't think of people as inferior because they didn't get to play RSC, I feel sorry for them rsc pwned. One thing I can't stand though is "RS2 products" who go around thinking they know everything about the game, they think they know what happened and when, when infact they basicly know nothiung, another thing I hate is EVERYONE who complains when there's not been an update for SEVEN DAYS! As been said a million times in RSC we got an update once a month and then NO ONE complained, hell no one really ever complained about RSC unless it was about the autoers. Summary: I don't mind "RS2 Products" as long as they don't think they know everything and that they stop complaining when there's not been an update for a week. sigjicu0
You guys need to get over it ... caz is right you guys don't deserve anything...80% of the people playing rs now are a bunch of immature twits from miniclip and other sites... IMO Jagex has pretty much given up on a good community... In RSC they cared about the players the wanted to know what they liked/disliked. Now all they care about is money.... they make senseless updates that everyone hates(not all the time some are pretty usefull) They stopped playing in-game to look at whats going on...So now the game is just going down hill...To tell the complete truth I am deathly scared to log onto f2p the place is just ..it's a ghetto that is all I can say.. it is nothing but "trimming armor for free" and other scams....and once you tell the scammer to stop scamming you get pounded with the word "noob" about 100 times. Back in RSC the jagex and the mods cared about the players... they played in-game alot and hosted alot of fun stuff.. well not hosted but attracted alot of people like when daniel went on the water by the black dragon island near catherby. Then they stopped caring about RSC once they started on rs2 and the game has went down hill from there....well thats all I can say for now because caz is 100% right! YOU GUYS DIDN'T PRESERVE IT SO YOU DON'T DESERVE IT!!!!!!!!

Anti
I think they still can do that, just are instructed not to. Don't quote me on this, just a guess. Does anyone happen to know death_siren? She stole a green mask from me, and I think I found my way into her ignore list. If you know anything, please, don't hesitate to give me a pm.
