We need new prayers that are GOOD above Smite, not below!!

 

 

 

Now Peekayers aren't gonna raise there prayer cause they can already use the damn things.

It would be unfair on the mages and rangers to put them higher, that would mean that meleers don't have to raise their prayer as high. I do agree that their should be prayers higher than 52, no other skill has the highest option at 52 :x

 

 

 

ah but your forgetting that most of what jagex does is pro melee, if what your saying is true, shoulding the black slayer mask also give 15% to mage and range atts? jagex isn't always "fair" to mages are rangers remember

 

Oh for the love of God quit whining :roll: . Mages got two new sets of spells recently, one that helps in daily life, and one that can frikin' hit 9 people for 30 damage and freeze every last one of them for 20 seconds.

 

 

 

Rangers have the uber strong Crystal Bow and all the new Crossbow weaponry they could ever need.

yah but the 15% bonus to mage is going to make ancients even harder to defeat

There are some really lazy people here... Have you seen how many rants have been made about your beloved protection prayers being too low? Hundreds.

 

 

 

It will be changed to 55+ and I will be laughing as I pray my way to Zamorak flag in Castle wars 8-) :lol: 8-)

they probably wont increase damge they will just be +5, +10 and +15% on top of the normal range or mage attack bonus. it will work like the str def and attack we have now.

 

 

 

so when you use the super attack pray you gain +15% of what your current attack bonus is, and with these new prayers u gain +15% on the mage or range attack bonus.

 

 

 

because mage damge is linked to the spell and range damge is linked to your range level, you wont be able to gaine any more damge with these prayers just mroe chance of hitting. The reason melee gets extra damage is simply because the damge u do is based on str level and str bonus, and the ultimate str pray increases your str bonus therefore increaseing your max hit.

 

 

 

So in conclusion the prayers wont have much effect on the game, but wil simply mean ull have a +15% extra attck bonus. Mages will hit abit better on black hide and rangers will hit abit better on rune armour simple.

 

 

 

Interesting thought, but theres one thing that doesnt fit into it.

 

Your str bones from ultimate strength (15%) is based on your str lvl, not on your str bonus. I know this, cause since i got higher str, my max hit was improving more with ultimate prayer, than it was before.

 

(15% of 70 is obviously smaller than 15% of 80)

Ummm, I'm pretty sure that Ice Barrage is insane enough without prayer. I think at least the mage prayer deserves to be higher than the melee prayers (not saying higher than 52)

 

 

 

Agreed, but I think that the prayers will make range hit higher and more accurate but only make mage more accurate.

I wish we had a prayer that would raise a selected skill of yours (you could select it sorta the way we select which skill to give exp from a genie), and it would raise it 5 levels.

I hope you people understand how many people JaGeX would anger if they changed the prayer levels. That is 18 more levels for Smite, so lets see, putting that into other stats... That is level 88 for a Whip, that would anger people... Hrm, level 62 for Nature Rune crafting... See, it won't happen, they wouldn't do it to any other skill so why to prayer?

I'm not saying THESE prayers, just other ones, maybe new ones, seems that every year since I've been playing RS theres been another set of prayers.

Agility is fun. Just try actually getting it up past level 3. Boring until you get to level 40, but once ur there brimhaven agility arena makes agiltiy awesome. 59 agility ftw!

I wouldn't mind that 70 prayer for smite, its only like 6 hours of dragon bone altaring at gilded altar and few k drag bones :mrgreen:

 

(but only a bit under 200k xp for me , which can be done in 2 hours)
