Featured Replies

on saturday morning (Australian time/Sydney) ,i started work at around 4am at approximatly 4:45 am i head something outside, there were 2 cars white vans, and a 4WD that i didnt see..they were acting suspiciously, and i failed to think...hmm... they are going to commit a crime,

they ended up driving into the building taking an ATM and fled off,

if i had of thought to call the cops, instead of tell my manager, she just told me to go tell them to "f*** off" so to speak... i panicked, and didnt do anything before you knew it they were gone,

now im just regretting it, probably being the first to witness a crime being commited

what would you have done, its not something that happens in the area that i work at

if you thought they were acting suspisious then you should have called the cops and tell them to stake out or something to see if they would commit a crime jump in a car and it make it onto a police T.V. show no ones ever heard about ::'

I don't know what the police are like down under, but here, if you phoned the police with something like that, they wouldn't come out. They are reactive police rather than proactive most of the time.

If you had stuck around outside, you would have likely been hurt yourself, or otherwise negatively involved. Don't beat yourself up about it, it's not your fault! Companies that run and own ATM machines have insurance up to their eyeballs, so seriously, forget about it. I know in quiet kind of area, it can come as a shock when something like this happens, but in the grand scheme of things, its no big deal. Things like the 53 million pound heist that ocurred in England last year, now THAT is a big deal!

Wow you ruined the day, sorry buddy.

That's what you want to here right? :)

Well there's nothing you can do it about it now, so don't beat yourself up about it. You may have delayed them, but who's to call you a fool for thinking they'd abide by the law?

I wouldn't feel too bad about it. Those idiots almost never get any money from those things...Assuming they can even get them open in the first place...

The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past.

Frankly, I can't blame ya. At 4 in the morning I couldnt dodge a truck going at 13 miles per hour.

At that time I couldn't dodge a 3 year old in a tricycle..

Chances are if you had stayed outside they would have hurt you and still gotten the ATM. Just be glad you didn't get hurt, and chances are a security camera got them on tape (there's so many you can't do s*** and get away with it anymore) and they'll get caught.

u didnt take a plates down? what kind of citizen are u!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't beat yourself up for not doing anything. Do cops even take calls like that seriously?
