Your ideas of the best F2P training spots?

Featured Replies

In this thread, please include all of your thoughts of the best f2p training spots for mage, ranged, and melee. please, also include your combat level and how much xp per hour you get.

Here is mine:

Melee: Level 50 spiders in the third level of security dungean. 2 rooms that you can alternate for almost continues afk training. 10k-20k xp an hour at 83 combat.

Ranged: The first and last floors of the security dungean. come in with about 400 iron arrows, kill some minitours, then leave for ankous. unknown xp an hour, but you get tons of free arrows, extremly fast. about 13 arrows per 3 kills.

Mage: lesser demons, karamaja. At non peak hours, this place may be empty. safe spots ftw is all i can say. unknown xp an hour.

Why would I post my spots so other people can take them????

the lvl 41 flesh crawlers are a good place cause they are agressive no matter what lvl u are

but afking is bad dont do it

^That guy does have a point.

But...it is for a noble cause --helping other people.

Lately, I've been doing a lot of skill leveling (non-combat).

But, sometimes, I do go to the Level 1 Stronghold of Security to practice mage (only level 15). As for melee (attack lvl 33. def 24. strength 29. combat level 35), I go to Stronghold of Security. I stick to the Level 1. When I get higher combat lvls I will start making my way "downward" (I got the 'first two "awards"' by just running through the thing. Taking shelter in the doorwars --forgot to bring food. >duh me<. For some reason, I always forget to bring food with me! Grrr.

I might try out the Melee place (when I get higher than Combat Level 50 --current=35)

RuneScape status: F2P

hill giants , moss giants , ice giants they are all waste of exp on f2p

unless you're looking for stuffy to high level alchemy or big bones then its good .

for fast exp , try giant spiders in the security stronghold - 75+ stats

if your below that try fresh crawlers level 36 :)

fastest exp on f2p = giant spideys

so good luck

lol human question

I get the same amount of experience per hour at the level 50 giant spiders as ice giants, I'm level 95.

The best spot to train range or mage would the Karajama lesser demons, there are quite a few safespots.

working on strength with lessers at karamja need to stop range for awhile -.-

that one made me laugh

ice giants compared to giant spideys ?

no way

giant spideys give the fastest exp on f2p , IMO

lol human question

i think either lvl 45 skeletons at karamja or the lesser demons are because of the close fishing spot

Meele: Level 45 Skeletons outside Elvarg the dragon. Im 84 combat and got 68 - 70 attack in one soild night of training. They are aggresive at my level and can get about 30 - 50 minutes of soild training out of one invent of lobs.

Range: Level 43 Red Spiders in Varrock dungeon (near mossies). Good safe spot, low def level and doesnt hit hard if you get in trouble either. 20k xp an hour.

Mage: Well when I was 30 mage I used to mage skeles in Varrock dungeon (not sure on xp per hour though)

** NOTE: The xp per hour are guesstimates.
