I agree, although I think it could work if there were limits to it, like not being able to tele to the wild. The problem with it though is it would make skills not close to a bank alot easier, like mining coal on Crandor, teleing to Draynor, and then teleing back to the rocks. Members can make laws, so they'd be able to use it easily. 3. 3 laws is too low, maybe 5-10. 4. What level would it be? 5. Everyone can craft airs, so that part would be easy...maybe 10-20 airs? 6. Fishing on Karamja would be too easy...Runecrafting would be easy too. 7. Because of 7, prices will drop for tune, lobbies and swordies, as well as runes. 8. I know that Jagex is trying to make something like 7 happen, but what about the people who make money off fishing/runecrafting? It would be a real way to distinguish themselves from the rest of the RS magic 'community'. But as mentioned this does mean that richer players who can afford loads of laws could tele to and from banks, resulting in even more money, which is exactly what Jagex is trying to take out of the game. sligo Posted August 12, 2006 Share Posted August 12, 2006 In the past, I have seen suggested this type of teleport, and I like the idea of "Coordinate Teleport" - basically, when you click the spell, you enter coordinates and zoom, you're there except.... 1. The location must be "ground level" - you can't teleport into a dungeon or into a building's upper floor 2. The location must be a location you can gain access to under normal circumstances - like over water, a mountainside, or a guild you can't enter 3. You can't teleport (in or out) of the wilderness north of the level 20 line The cost of the spell should be 5 laws, 5 bodies, 5 airs, and 3 bloods (or 3 astral) If you enter coordinates that you can't get to, you lose the ruins. And to keep this spell from being abused, you can only use it once a day. - Sligo I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant. It would make it unfair to toher player's when doing things that require time and no teleporting instantly to your location like Barrows for example. trebor4312 Posted August 12, 2006 Share Posted August 12, 2006 good idea but i should be something along the line of 15 laws 10 souls 5 bloods and 95 mage required also it hits you for 10 damage each time you use it (if you have 10 or less hp left and you use it your hp becomes 1 you still lose runes and you go to lumby/falador depending on where you respawn on death (but you keep items)) that way no-one is likely to use it for skilling but rich high lvl mages can still use it if thier too lazy to walk from the nearest teleport ahahaha IMA A IDIOT cant argue there mateReal world? *looks around confuzzled* Real world?!? :ohnoes:have now quit rs :-( (but i still browse these forums :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
krogiecom Posted August 13, 2006 Share Posted August 13, 2006 Wouldnt this make every single other type of transport obselete? i mean, why bother making teleport jewelry if you can just teleport wherever you like, regardless of how many runes it takes.
