Well, I was just wondering, has anyone ever put their resources into the Farm section in the Miscellenia MTK? I was just curious what the workers harvested for you. I can't find any posts where anyone put effort into this section.

ive had a couple 100% on farming a few times, and its not worth it. theres a TON of junk seeds, and few tree seeds. you could probably get as many good seeds from the birds nests from trees (maple, teak, mahoghany), plus wood

well i have used miscellania a few times for farming. Sometimes i do 100% maples and 50% farm. Basically, this way you get a ton of seeds, guaranteed plenty of tree seeds, but really the only reason that I use farm option is to get sweetcorn, watermelon or limps. you still dont get many as the linked post (above) suggests, but they are hard to come by so I put up with the rest of the junk that you normally get.

Piece of advice: dont do farming if you dont have 2-3 lines of bank space spare. Chatted to a few people who couldnt collect their resources due to lack of bank space.

I use farming all the time on my Manage Thy Kingdom. Sure you get alot of junk seed like potato, onion, etc... But I still get plenty of Sweetcorn, Watermelon, Limps and Tree seeds to make up for the Junk ones. I usualy just give my my junk seeds to clan members or newbie farmers. If you are using Manage Thy Kingdom for profitn then dont use farming but if you are into farming then it is worth putting the money in. I have mine set on 100% maples and 50% farming and I collect my items once a week. I usually get 6k maples a week plus your 8 birds nest a day, plus I get my farming suppies and at least 1 or 2 tree seeds a day from farming. I end up selling the Maples and Birds nests to cover all the money I spent during the week putting money into the coffers and still come out with 100k tp 150k profit. And I still have all my other seeds that I dont use to five to other people who may need them. As I said before if you are using Mange Thy Kingdom purely for profiting then dont use Farming if you want to use farming resources then by all meens go ahead try it out for yourself. As one of the previous posters pointed out, you need to have at least 3 empty bank space lines if you plan getting farming supples.

most profititable way? :P or the most tree seeds  I'm willing to try this out if I can find out what's most profitable

The most profitable method is 100% Mahogany and 50% Flax.

The first number is a popular street price, followed by the price listed on the Kingdom Managing guide on Tip.It. These numbers are profit per item, and I'll throw an example in for 75k spent so a full number can be gotten.

Coal

200ea - 91.6ea = 109.4 profit

75,000 / 91.6 = 818 * 109.4 = 89,489 total

Flax

100ea - 40ea = 60 profit

75000 / 40 = 1875 * 60 = 112.5k total

Strings*

150ea - 40ea = 110 profit

75000 / 40 = 1875 * 110 = 206,250 total

Herbs

1000ea - 826.4ea = 174.6 profit MINIMUM

75000 / 826.4 = 90 * 174.6 = 15,714 MINIMUM

Swordfish

300ea - 189.4ea = 111.6 profit

75000 / 189.4 = 395 * 111.6 = 44,082 total

Maple

100ea - 56.1ea = 44.9 profit

75000 / 56.1 = 1336 * 44.9 = 59,986 total

Teak

500ea - 166.1ea = 333.9 profit

75000 / 166.1 = 451 * 333.9 = 150,588 total

Mahogany

1000ea - 224.6ea = 775.4 profit

75000 / 224.6 = 333 * 775.4 = 258,208 total

*That number is for if you spin the Flax after receiving it.

By my calculations, doing 100% Mahogany and possibly 50% flax would be the best combination for pure profit. I didn't bother calculation Teak and Mahogany all as one because of how random it would be as to how much you get (from what I know).

Now assuming you did that (100% Mahogany, 50% Flax), that would total 258,208 + 56,250 which equals around 314.5k in one day. Save that up a couple of days and you have yourself a nice profit for little or no work.

1 Day = 314.5k

2 Days = 629k

3 = 943.5

4 = 1258k

Massive potential for 100% Mahogany, 50% Flax[/b]

The only problem is that most people dont pay 1k for Mahogany logs and even at that its hard to find Teak and Mahogany log buyers. So I wouldnt really count Teak and Mahogany as a real money maker. If you could actually find reliable Teak and Mohogany buyers then it would be worth trying.

Best combination is 100% maples, 50% flax, hands down.

You get 894 maples daily. That pays off for the 75k. Then you get 8 bird nests. Lets say 4 of them are seed nests. (though it is usually more)

Each bird nest is worth 2k, so thats 16k. Now, the cheapest seed is an acorn, worth 4k each. So thats another 16k which adds up to 32k. Thats saying you get 4 acorns everytime, you don't, you get better.

In conclusion: 100% maples, 50% flax

Where did you come up with the theory of mahoganys being 1k ea?
