August 17, 200619 yr the update today is about all the races in runescape history and gives a good plan for things to come..... misthalin which is from edgeville to lumby. jagex let's us know that "many years ago, varrock was even assaulted by and undead army led from the wilderness by a dire necromancer, whose name is now lost to antiquity". i smell summoning. kandarin which includes catherby, seers village, ardougne, yanille, and castle wars. "There are even rumours that Kandarin has connections with the mysterious lands west of the mountains, where no human has set foot since the godwars". karamja "There is evidence of a dark history in Karamja, as the natives know when they speak of the Broodoo victims whose death-sleep is as restless as they might expect in Morytania. There are caves and tombs deep in the earth, and mighty beasts that appear once in every few years to terrorise the human population. Karamja may be an island overflowing with untapped wealth, but it is a hard road for anyone who wishes to harness it". goblins "The Dorgeshuun tribe of goblins are the notable exception to this, as they have been separated from the main goblin race since the times of the godwars. The Dorgeshuun have since then been hiding themselves away in their underground city, Dorgesh-Kaan"......."They do not trust humans, though, and it is a rare human that has seen their mines or had anything approaching a decent conversation with them". And last is tirannwn where the elves live. "The main settlement of elves is Prifddinas, a mighty city that dates from thousands of years ago, and is grown from crystal seeds. Although no human has ever entered its walls, there are rumours of its beauty and the genius of its architecture - rumours which are repeated throughout every text on elven culture that has survived to make it to Varrock". "The rebel elves make a point of moving about, though their current settlement - the lodge at Lletya - has been a reliable base for some time now. No human knows how the civil war began, but all scholars agree that this could easily be the end of this once powerful race". jagex always keeps getting plans and they will never run out look for these updates to be coming.

August 17, 200619 yr Among the longest lived of all the races of RuneScape, the elves have watched the godwars come and go, and watched as other races were destroyed. What other races?? First place Winner of Nick 6464 F2P custom contest.
August 17, 200619 yr Among the longest lived of all the races of RuneScape, the elves have watched the godwars come and go, and watched as other races were destroyed. What other races?? There were those jewl people Juna mentions in Tears of Guthix, the ones that made citys out of every colour of jewl under the sun, and these jewls were magic so when the light shined through them, it was realy beutifull and made the light come alive and creatures of coloured light were formed that did beutiful dances round the gem towers. Sadly they were destroyed in the 3rd age during the god wars and the blue light creatures in Tears of Guthix are all that survive of both the civisation and the lights. When you have a bullseye lantern with a spahire lens, you draw the light creatures over and and pick you up and carry you accross the ravine. This bit im not sure about but dont the Light creatures stay there to keep Juna companey and give her light? Much like a dog would stay by us.
August 17, 200619 yr Also there were the Wveryns, huge creatures that breathered fire that todays Dragons are descended from. There are skelital wveryns in the Ice caves, they appear to be a weakened, resurrected version of them, the skeletons seem to be all of their corpes that survived.
August 17, 200619 yr Erm actully no, do wanted quest and youll find it was actully solus delegar (sp) :o I've done that quest, didn't really pay attention though. :(
August 17, 200619 yr Sorry, its just in quests I try and read every scrap of info I can, a quest with a good backstory and cutscenes is what I like.
August 17, 200619 yr Erm actully no, do wanted quest and youll find it was actully solus delegar (sp) solus dellgar wasnt a necromancer , and he didnt lived back then , he is way to old then
August 18, 200619 yr he was the guy who invaded Varrok, it was called like the great zombie invasion or something.
August 18, 200619 yr Erm actully no, do wanted quest and youll find it was actully solus delegar (sp) AAARRGGHH none of you are right! If anybody here has actually done Temple of Ikov, you may recall that the guardian of Armadyl say "Lucien lead an army of undead creatures against Varrock 100 years ago"
August 19, 200619 yr There were those jewl people Juna mentions in Tears of Guthix, the ones that made citys out of every colour of jewl under the sun, and these jewls were magic so when the light shined through them, it was realy beutifull and made the light come alive and creatures of coloured light were formed that did beutiful dances round the gem towers. There are skelital wveryns in the Ice caves, they appear to be a weakened, resurrected version of them, the skeletons seem to be all of their corpes that survived. and dragonkin 'of whom todays dragons are a mere shadow'. and the light creatures simply stay in that place because it is the place closest to guthix and away from the others dangerous races. also there were creatures that built the wilderness, as humans weren't in the world at the time Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.
August 19, 200619 yr My knowledge of quests isnt as good as I thought! *runs into a corner and has a breakdown!* :ohnoes: Congratz to the guy who said the ikov thing again to the guy who said ragonkin are a shadow and light creatures close to guthix. Im wrong twice. :boohoo: :(
August 20, 200619 yr I love this a lot. But the bad thing about it is there are only races listed that live in a city. I really would like to read about dragons and demons. This is not hidden update since it WAS mentioned in article. This is great. =D>
