A wide variety of adventurers, merchants, and vagrants populated the tavern, sitting at the tables and at the bar, drinking or talking. A small group of young adventurers sat at a table talking excitedly about their upcoming excursion. The lanterns on the walls lit the room well, and the fireplace provided welcome warmth.
