I began playing in December 2001, and I'm only 87 combat with 1205 skill total ever since I quit about 6 months ago. I'd be much higher in levels if I didn't spend all my years merchanting, getting keylogged, then merchanting again. Of course you won't get a new quest, but you still get a lot of stuff Here's a list of the f2p updates I can remember: Stronghold of Security Game engine Questhelp System It turned pure essence from ex-members to rune essence so they wouldn't lose it Bank PINs Cook-X RUNECRAFTING!!! Emotes Bows and arrows The 'Insert' option in banks Various bugs fixed Updating the game even if you're not logged in (Which saves you LOTS opf lag) And most importantly.... RS2 Plus holiday items, graphic updates (Which I might add updated most, if not all, of the free lands including the wilderness) and probably more things which I can't remember. Whoa, it was a good thing they decided not to upgrade free wasn't it? So please just stop complaining and be happy =) MY BEST ITEM IS A BRONSE COIN! I KILLED ZEZIMA AND HE DROPED IT! Jagex would just love that. They would be able to save money by reducing the number of F2P worlds. The money saved could then be funnelled into even better updates for those people who pay for the game. F2Per's pay for nothing, so they should get nothing!!!!!
