The sweet, sweet smell of another goal. Nothing else smells better.

 

But hold your horses, this isn't just a mere mortal's goal.

 

No, this is a goal for the god's themselves! No wonder why I'm doing so bad then

 

This is a quest for the ultimate prize. You must be lying to say you don't want one.

Five things stand in my way.

 

 

 

The easiest would have to be getting to Jad.

 

(No offence Jagex, but the waves before look kinda easy. Then again I'm proberly getting ahead of myself, knowing me I'd lag halfway through and die).

 

 

 

That brings me on to another problem. Lag. I've died so many times thanks to this *kicks computer* I can't even count on all my family's fingers. And I have alot of family. (Ask Umega, he's had to put up with all my whining and complaing :wink: )

 

 

 

Another problem would have to be Jad. A simple math will show you what I mean. (Sorry about this, I know being in summer vacation usually means you don't have to become subject to Math for about 2 weeks still. Tough luck!)

 

 

 

Jad + Lag + 70 and higher hit = Me outside the caves with no cape

 

 

 

A forth nasty problem would have to be money. I'm poor. 200k to be precise. So ATM I can't even buy the stuff for one trip into the caves. Looks like merchanting will have to be in order (I hate merchanting)

 

 

 

But finally the last and hardest problem out of all of them.

 

Getting the range level needed to do it.

 

I hate range. Range hates me. Right, glad that's out of the way.

Construction!

 

 

 

Yes, it's time to push away all my money. Yay? Well, whenever it's good or not, I'm gunna be bored out of my mind doing range (Boo! range!), so I thought I'd get another side goal done at the same time. It's always good to multi-task :wink: . Anyway, ATM I have approx. 900 oak planks, 4.1k oak logs and I've put aside enough cash to turn them into logs. (Don't worry, this doesn't include me 200k which I will have after I "plank-tify them). To stop the boredom of both skills, I'll take it in turns, one level at a time. I.E. 68 range, 57 construction, 69 range, 58 construction. So, I guess this'll help alot. If anyone wants to run planks with me, PM me in game/over the forum message system.

Yes that's right, when/if I get my cape, I'll be so happy, that I'll drop tons of my stuff. I don't have much to drop ATM, so I thought I'd pickpocket HAM members and do the clues, then dropping everything good from them. Also, I'll drop any good items I've got along the way to 75 range. Just post and say you want to come, details are completely not known yet, as I could do it on my first attempt, or maybe even my 50th.

I got to Jad, everything was running smoothly, but what do you know?

 

Yes, I have real bad luck and Jad SPAWNS on me. He melees a 74 and I'm dead in one hit.

Fine again until Jad, then I'm switching fine, nearly get him to half health (healers), when I click one of the switches, but I was lagging so I clicked it again as nothing happened, both clicks got through, and it turned the protect on, then off again straight away, to send this noob back outside again. :cry:
