I have more fun pking and actually having the rush of excitement in a game other than standing there merchanting or something every day, making the game more like a job, just to get a rare or something that wont make me do anything other than look cool.

If hardcore servers were implimented id pay any ammount jagex asked 10-40$ a month would be acceptable to me and i would play nothing else.

I doubt the amount of whining on teleport and praying will lessen though, as most PKers who whine about it aren't honourable at all... they are just sad.

1) Would this be F2P or P2P?

 

 

 

2) Would it be a seperate character account?

 

 

 

3) If you bought P2P on this Hardcore character, would you get redeemed your money if/when it dies?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If this we're to be pulled off properly, in my opinion, these things would need to be done.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1) Your Hardcore account is a spin off of your RSC/RS2 account, mean you can register the name "Chaosbringer" and you can play all 3 versions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) When dieing, your character will be completely wiped out, no more items, no more exp, no nothing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3) At a set time during the week, (for example lets just say Monday midnight every week GMT time) all characters that we're slain (and subsequencly made level 3's with nothing again) are reborn, just as if they we're remade again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These are just things that I came off the top of my head, things that I feel are critical if this were to ever happen, I'm sure there are many things that I couldn't think up.

Thats the one I agree most with. If it was p2p, you'd be wasting your money building the character just to lose it all, and this would be so much fun. Kinda like a RO/Mu rebirth option :)

I had expanded the idea to impliment most of what you said above, with the exception of the lvl 3 chars getting reborn, that is a very good idea though, that or just make it pay per char not per month, say 10$ to make the char then another 10 at the end of each month that he lives.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And if your char gets pked the pker gets a bank key and gains access to all of your items.
