Elemental Avvys **Final Update**

Wow, it's been a while since I actually posted more than C/C here. I'm sure almost no one remembers me but, whatever  and a hello to those who don't know me.

Anyways I've been working on a collection of Avvys for each of the elements. I start with a large canvas (800x800), do my work, then shrink it down to 80x80. I find this makes for less irratating detail work with high zoom and the pencil tool. I think I might do earth, fire, air, water, ice, light, shadow, and maybe nature and lava.

C/C Please and any ideas you have for the other ones I haven't started yet. I know I have tons of views but please leave some feedback.

Here's what I have so far:

1. This is either going to be a Nature avvy. I used angular maple, redbud, and oak leaves in addition to pine needles and maple seeds.

2. I really like how this one turned out. I'm thinking Lava.

3. I think this one turned out pretty well. It's going to be the Shadow avvy.

4. Cracked Earth like from a drought. I don't think I got it quite right so any suggestions would be great.

5. Wow, I can't believe I managed to pull this off. I don't think I ever have done water this good. I have unlocked the secret to awesome water! :-$

6. I like the idea for this one but I can't manage to get the kind of glare off the suns that suggest extreme light.

7. I like this one a lot. It wasn't too hard, just a lot of the spray tool to get a kinda chaos feel. I think the ground is a bit barren though.

8. Aaaah I wanna roast marshmellows =P~! I know what it's supposed to be but I'm not sure if it looks that way to other people.

9. I really like how this one turned out. Ice makes me cold :uhh:.

wont shrinking them down 90% mess up the quality?

I start and use the largest line tool (6 pixels I believe) to doo all the linework in a very large, rough scale. When I shrink it down, I actually find it preserves detail, at least much better than enlarging a picture does.

number 2 reminds me of the tzhaar place lol

they are pretty good, i like them, but wont shrinking them down 90% mess up the quality?

800x800 > 80x80 = 90%?

Dude, you r teh 1337 at maths.

Because it's being reduced by an equal amount each side, it doesn't lose much detail.

I really like the first two.

The natural one almost looks like real leaf stamps.

The second one has a good lava feeling, nice warm colours aswell.

They'd almost work as a desktop wallpaper on tile. That would be quite impressive if you could do that.

No C/C for me, especially on pixels. I suck at them... *glances at my avatar*.
