well you have seen all the partys and trips going on recently in general p2p forum

 

 

 

why dont we have a little forum just for these???

 

 

 

 

 

if you want to play cwars or go kqing but want a partner or friend to go with just go in this forum and look for a thread or just make 1 yourself

 

 

 

this is also the same for partys so if your celebrating something the post would go here

Great idea all the other tip sites have them.

 

To find a event you have to sherch through all the general forum.

I do notice a big amount of such event posts, but maybe merge such a new board with the TET board? TET would get the usual stickys while at same time there's stickys for looking for boss partners, and normal topics by users advertising events they make.

We tried this once and it didn't work out so well. I don't see what's different this time around.

A forum for what functionally are classified ads would be good, it would really help in forming teams/partners/whatever.

We had a board before and basically, it turned into major spam. Because the board existed, people felt the need to write up junky posts about stupid parties. That, plus the TET threads were getting more views sitting in General P2P rather than the RuneScape Events board. We could try it again if there really are a slew of event threads in General P2P. But if it isn't a huge problem (and I don't think it is really), let's leave well enough alone.

 

 

 

General and General P2P get the most complaints/suggestions/comments because they are "all-in-one" boards. People have their own topics that they like to read - and they have topics that they don't care for. As they continue to visit a particular board more and more, they see all the topics they dislike taking over the topics they DO like (when really that isn't the case). Usually the staff intervenes when it is necessary to clean up said boards but I do have to say that a lot of suggestions that involve "splitting" Gen. P2P are often denied, as they prove to be unnecessary.
