September 5, 200619 yr I have been playing guitar for 5 years now,I used to play classical, but for the past 2 years I have been playing electric.Classical training helped with learning electric, as its not all heavy metal, as I play mainly Trivium, Dragonforce,Black Label Society and Slpiknot.My classical training has also lead me to play Coheed and Cambria,Incubus,Foo Fighters,Emiliana Torrini and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.I played bass guitar for 2 years, then quit mainly to pursuit my love of metal.I'm in a band, and work solo as well.The band im in plays mainly Metallica/Trivium/Dragonforce influeneced music,and my solo stuf leads me to more computerised techno sampling,and playing guitar helps,because I can also play keyboard I can use both instruments.I am just about to start college, and do a National DIploma in Music Perfomance.One day I hope to be professional. I know exactly what you mean, its just ruining the whole game for everybody, this is the worst update since noobs.
September 5, 200619 yr Played the classical guitar for about, oooh 10 years? Played the electric for 3 years. Played the piano on and off for 5 years, but i'm nowhere near as good on that, it's just a handy composing tool. I'm sure i'll never become pro, but it's great to be able to pick it up and play to friends, or on your own. It's also great to hear a song, go play it and change it a bit, make it a mini cover version. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

September 6, 200619 yr I play Alto Sax (8yrs), Keyboard(2yrs on an off), and enjoy my heritage by playing the Bag pipes 9 god knows how long). I like djing "whoopie" making music on my keyboard alot :D Its better to be judged by twelve, than to be carried by six.
September 6, 200619 yr I play the acoustic and electric guitar, tought myself how to play on the electric, been doing that for about a year now, and I bought an acoustic one about a month ago to see what all the fuss was about, and I'm totally in love with it. I play in a little band with my friends and we mostly play Zeppelin songs, and yeah offcourse we want to go pro isn't that every musicians dream? 99 Slayer since August 2007.
September 7, 200619 yr i play violin and piano. i've been playing violin for aroudn three years, and piano for around six years. it would be cool to become a pro, and earn tons of moolah \ but i doubt that'll happen. i still have yet to play the electric violin. edit: cool. 700th post. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
