For our smithing skill. Howcome we can make hachets (wc axe) but not pickaxes... :-k

I agree but I think Jagex rationalizes it by saying that mining and smithing are too closely related or that there would be too many picks around. I don't really think the second one is valid though with all the new bronze pick spawns and selling bronze picks in stores.

Well the thing about pick axes is, you can buy the full range from an NPC while axes, you can't so why make player able to make pick axes if everyone can already get them naturally

cuz npc sell rune picks 32k and i think that is way overpriced myself, if wc axes are 20k i think picks shud be the same

with that logic, then why can we make the wooden handles on b axes, warhammers, and maces, or the golden handles on scimmys and shorts, longs, and 2h's? do they just come from no where?

Uhh no, mining gives rune armor so the pick should be more expensive and besides 20k is the player market price not the store price
