well it is just my basis, I appreciate the comment, but there isnt much to comment on. Besides the fact that it is out of proportion, unshaded, and pretty rough edged :lol: and no, it isn't my first.

very nice but do take your time, blocking things out was something I saw from what Random used to do, it allows you to work on a section at a time.. heres some other examples of mine if you need help.

Terley to the rescue?

 

 

 

Yeah i remember the amazing Lotr sig that Random was working out and he used the technique that Terley is now using. I actually like the technique, because it shows contrast and definition more than black strokes, or other colours.

 

 

 

Shame that Random only finished one arm of that LOTR sig :lol:

 

 

 

The sig: The anatomy of your character needs some work (e.g. the hand). I relaly like the idea of the sig, but i think that your wall is too....repetitive. Meaning that it's too symetrical. Every block is exactly the same, which is not what you would find in reality.

yeah the only downside of doing this is it forces you to work more on details and you kinda get carried away doing one small area, Random's Lotr sig was like 500x250 so it's no suprise he got too overwhelmed..

 

 

 

doing a small signature lets you finish it easier but it can be frustrating working on tiny characters..

 

 

 

It's no way my idea though, im not sure it even helps in most circumstances, it just makes it easier to build a complicated layout effectively..

Um for one, its a PIXEL SIGNATURE o.O I cant do text any better in paint mrs fancy prints, I tryed adding details to the walls..just looked like the floors #-o

and if u cant find a way to finsih the pink/yellow thing, give him a paint spray can like orig idea and make him do your name in graffitti (maybe that guy who done the graffitti text sig could do that for ya) so u dont need to put that horrible text uve got just now?

Paint Can is in Paint > Pixels are Made In Paint > Ownt.

 

 

 

Spray can is just a bunch of dots, in other words closed and colored circles, circles are made from lines, therfor the signature is still a pixel. =;

Anyways, I like the texture of the wall. I suggest adding more to it such as a fire hydrant and maybe adding some graphitti words where he's tagging.

Er....as long as it all was made in paint...or was made by majority in paint-like-programs...it's considered a pixle :roll:

worked on the wall a bit, as for adding more graffiti, I wanted it to look like he found a "hot spot" aka a new wall :wall:

Well I guess what he has written on the wall could do with a little work, as in less square? Otherwise, I like the character in it, and looks pretty good overall. :)
