September 3, 200619 yr you can get a super rod from one of the guys or train a magnicarp you must have one to a gyrados, i used to be a pokemon wiz but now i am not and i only play xd. lol. i chose mudkip in the begining.
September 3, 200619 yr Blazkien , so where do i get the rod? You can get an old rod in Dewford, methinks. You can also find wild marill in the grass between Mauville and Verdanturf. :D Omg! I'm a pokemon freak...
September 3, 200619 yr i dont hav ruby but i DO hav emerald... and i've beaten the game a long time ago... u hav to go to dewford, then talk to some guy by the dock. he'll giv u some tips on fishing, then fish a water pokemon! it'll probably be a magicarp... train it to a gyrados! and then use the HM surf on it and it can swim now! :thumbsup:
