September 3, 200619 yr Im 71 range now and want to get to 75 or 80 before members, for fight caves. Ive read a few guides on training range and all of them say lessers at my level. Would their be a better monster on f2p to train on with 71 range?
September 3, 200619 yr There isnt really anything on f2p but i would suggest possibly greater demons, and u most likely wont have any trouble from pkers cos ur so high Add me! (Johnno41)
September 3, 200619 yr Author I would do greaters but theres quite a few high lvl clans up there that stand it one spot, then 20 people come out and kill you before you can eat twice. I only train in non-multi wildy.
September 3, 200619 yr You know the hobgoblins near the crafting guild? That's where I trained my pure's range. I dunno if it would work for you, I shot accross the river and didnt pick the arrows up. It's quite decent exp there aslong as there aren't to many people training there. You could give it a shot if you want?
September 3, 200619 yr I personally have been training my range at lessers since level 65. Now I'm 73, going for 85+. I choose lessers because of the good drops, and using the money from high alching there I go buy more arrows at the arrow shop (world hopping). I don't know if they're are the fastest but it's still a good training place. I'm F2P right now.
September 3, 200619 yr i trained from lvl 87 range in the security stronghold at the lvl 82 ankous. the drops aren't fantastic , but the xp imo is better than at lessers . It is a very non-crouded spot and it will get very boring , but if you want high range , it is worth it :wall: :-$ : (it also has a safe-spot) ;) retired hehe but i still browse tip.it XD
September 3, 200619 yr I was 77 range when I became a member, and pretty much the whole time I either ranged black knights (in their fortress), or the mossies in Varock sewers. Goals: 80/80 Range, 75/90 Strength, 77/85 Attack, 64/76 Fishing and crafting 31k natures (o.O)
September 3, 200619 yr Range on ice giant... Big bone for prayer and sometime great drop! People suggest lesser demon, but many players take your arrow. Wish it help. ~BOMB
September 3, 200619 yr lessers are really crowded nowdays. Greaters is unsafe because all clan pking trips goes around there. you can try ice giants in their cave. YOu have to wait 15 minutes for the ice warriors to stop attacking you and then you can use the safe spot on the ice giants. The drops are decent and they drop big bones. Just don't leave the area or they'll start attacking you again.
September 3, 200619 yr it would be much easier to get members then go train at blue dragons or something, get good money and exp 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.
