1_man_army
That being said the brother of a friend of mine did make it, he plays for a Scottish Premier League side and even made it into the Scotland squad for the game against Lithuania earlier today (although he didnt play). So its not completely impossible - if you have the desire and ability. Robbie Neilson by any chance? Nope, Scott Brown. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
Bubsa
And remember, you don't have to 'give up your life' to become pro, as in focus on the sport and nothing but the sport. It depends on what kind of mentality you have. In the same way people get fired up and shout about, others are calm, collected and laid back. My mate, Dave (The Rave) Raven has played football/soccer for Liverpool and captained England youth and 19s. He's now moved to Carlisle (a team that won be ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã250 last year ) to get more 1st team. The point here is, Dave is one of the soundest guys I know. He chills, plays guitar, goes out, goofs around. I take the mickey out of him for having a receeding hairline at 20 (it started way before - his bro's the same), he rips it out of me for having an orange tan. Football is just a game to him, and that mentality has worked for him. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
Viktorkrum77
From what I can tell so far, you don't have the comiment to do something like this, and are not serious enough about it. Me doing staff.

Ash_Two
I suggest you take football (or anything you have intrest in) as a hobby. If you really like it, then go for it. But if you drop out then you might not have the attention span for it.

bantam222
I have spent about 300 hours a year on football during highschool, mostly running and lifting in the offseason, but the 3 hour practices 5 days a week from augest to late october help too. I'm not even the best player on my team and have no plans of playing in collage let alone pro. BTW have you even played before? Because if you havn't you are screwed... FrankyBrown
Well I don't know about football but I'd love to play guitar in a band but incase I can't do that I'm studying to be a music teacher, now you've said you quit guitar before so I don't think you'd get far with that as you have to actually enjoy it, have some natural talent and practice for a bit everyday atleast (although with how big bands like Panic at the disco are talent doesn't seem to matter if you go with whatever is popular ). And you quit so I don't think you enjoy it much :P I actually just love playing guitar (and music in general) because its fun and making a career out of it would be a bonus. xxsheepxx
Let's put it this way. Seeing how easily you change your mind and quit things; I honestly don't think you'd be good at anything, as things take a lot of commitment and hard work. From what I'm seeing you can't handle that. Guest XplsvBam
you dont have to be a pro. work hard and impress your friends. I know that seeing a friend play the guitar is pretty impressive.
