can someone tell me the best way to get minin lvls up? I am currently a lvl 55 minin and want to get to lvl 60 so i can use da minin guild. I am not a member.

For me I use the goblin cave from The lost Tribe quest. I have the option of selling my iron to goblins for a nominal fee or bank in the Lumby Celler chest which is available after the first part of RFD quest.

 

It's not dangerous, no local beasties, and very close to a bank.

Minxy, if you've just been selling the Ores then you might as well Poer Mine like everyone's been saying.

 

However if you care about Skills above money then you might want to do Coal and Iron to get your Smithing up.

 

There's no rush to get into the Mining Guild..

powermine iron, but the best place is in the dwarf mines.. not where everyone mines, but closest to the mountain entrance... sell the iron to the shop here.. it is faster than dropping it all...

 

 

 

(or if you have a friend... mine at iron, close to a bank, in dwarf mines or varrock mines, and get him to run with the iron for you.. and bank it, then you will have banked ores, (you can share 50/50, and it is still faster than dropping)

I once saw a guy advertise on Forums about taking advantage of his goal of high mining. Rather than powermine iron and drop it he would agree to advertise his location to anyone who would give him a small fee for the iron he mined. As long as they both agreed before hand on a price.

 

 

 

Later he said he made his mining goal and made 10k easy.

If it took you months to get to 55, then you MUST of been mining on something pathetic like Rune Essence? Or you may of thought when you hit 30 you can mine coal fast? I'm 77 mining and still addy is slow...very slow. And as everyone else has said, powermine iron at Al Kharid Mine! Possibly the best for F2P. ORRRR Rimmington mine. Mine the 4 rocks if you want, then sell at the general store nearby. I got from 49-60+ using that. (60-77 in Al Kharid). From 55 to 60, will take you like...2 days if you worked hard. (About 110k xp, 77 to 78 is 143k xp :shock: ) Please use Rune pickaxe, cause thats ust the best lol. If your going for levels, drop your ore, no point banking it. Best method for me:

 

 

 

Mine all 28, 27 if you cannot weild Rune Pickaxe, before all 3 respawn, drop 3 QUICKLY, then mine 3. Repeat till your bored. If you do this ALL day you can EASILY get ti your target level.

mine iron and coal, bank it and raise you smithing at the same time.

 

the mining guild isn't that great, just 5 mith rocks and about 23 coals.

 

its almost always packed unless its like 1 am
