The rune kite has slightly better overall def, but the obby shield has much better range def, and gives a +5 str bonus. You decide which is best for you.

yeh the rune kite has like 2-3 more def points on slash, crush etc but makes up for it with range def and the str bonus =)

I'd personally say go with the rune kite. It's cheaper :thumbsup:

if you fight npc's more than players, easily rune, as barely any use range attacks, and unless your str really needs that boost, just stick with rune until you want dragon

Don't forget the rune defender, it has +5 str like the obby shield. If you need cash go for rune kite.
