Well I must give a 10/10 for bravery to hand out fliers like that at school, although I'm not sure there'll be much left of the poor kid once the bullies are finished with him....But seriously, I don't think there are all that many people who aren't allowed to use email or msn these days yet are allowed to play runescape?... :-k

It's a volunteer organization kinda like NHS. Looks pretty good on a college application :)

 

 

 

Membership is fairly high at my school because they offer free food at every meeting 8-)

 

 

 

uhhh...no... at my school, key is a program were u can only get if u r talented a english. its like a higher level english.i got recommended for it, i took the test and i was off by one point! darn #-o ! here was one of the questions that i thought were pretty challenging ( of course i got the right answer... ): it was 3:00 clock in the morning, and a person was guarding a bank vault. the next day, his boss asked how it went. the guard answered "i had a dream that i won the lottery!". his boss fired him on the spot. y did the boss fire him?

 

 

 

on topic: oh... poor kid, hes gonna get teased for sure... at my school lots of kids like runescape, but lots of kids HATE runescape, too. some peep might join, but most will just tease him for it... y did he do that?! i mean hes smart enough to know wat happens to him if he hands it out! just plain dumb... -.-

And yes, I'm aware that correcting a geeky word in a thread where people are bashing geeks is sort of ironic. Also, stop bashing geeks and posting those stereotypes.

 

 

 

And to people posting in here "I'm not a geek, I got so many girlfriends last years", I find the fact that you're trying to defend yourself in this thread, while you're not even attacked, a sign that you're unconfortable with your self-image, after all someone who is confortable with it has no reason to defend or prove it.

I hate these 'Geek' stereotypes that everyone one of them has no friends, and they're all alone, and have no friends..

 

I, myself, AM a geek, and I'm proud of it.. But I still have plenty of friends, I've had girlfriends, I don't have glasses, I am pretty tall, and I don't talk to myself all day..

 

So please stop these horrible stereotypes.

 

As for the flier though, I find that dang cool..

If my brother calls me a geek he gets a punch in the face. No one at school cares that I play RS, if I get any stick it is either a joke or an argument. I always win my arguments. 8-)

There's the new little sixth grader, he is sooo geeky acting and looking. Pants high, thick glasses, short (no offense to short people), band shirt, band instrument, braces. Funny looking.

 

 

 

 

 

 

For one, there is nothing geeky about braces. Most people have to get them some time in their life. Even cool people. Also, band is not geeky. In my school, band is an elite program that you have to try out for, and it is an honor to be in. Try not to stereotype :shame:
