kelvin596826
Kelvin's Guide to Fletching - v1 Well, this is my first post in Tip.It Forums and I'm happy I'm making this guide. My first word is Welcome. This guide will help you out in Fletching really well and I hope you enjoy it. Fletching - Starting Off First, you will need a woodcutting axe (any will do) and a knife . The axe will get you the wood you need and the knife is used with the wood to make the desired fletching item. Now go to Lumbridge, just behind the general shop. There is a circle of normal trees there. Cut them until you have a full inventory. Now, use your knife on the wood and select Fletch X and type in the number of logs you have in your inventory and be sure to right click on arrow shafts. Fletch 4,482 normal logs to get 35 fletching, and if you cut the logs on your own you should have 51 woodcutting with 112,050 xp. Fletching - 35 to 70 Now that you're level 35 fletching and 51 woodcutting, sell the arrow shafts or keep them for arrows in the future. Now walk East to Draynor and go to the bank and get a new rune axe. That will help you a lot. Now head over to the willow trees. Wield your axe and leave the knife in your inventory. Now cut a full inventory of willows, and fletch them. Cut 445 willows and fletch them to get 40 fletching. Then make 16,809 willow longbows to get level 70 fletching. You're all set to make Yew longbows now! You will have also got level 75 woodcutting! Fletching - 70 to 85 Here's the part where you can earn heaps of money just in 1 day. There are 2 ways to go. Way 1: Buy 16,807 yew logs and bowstrings and fletch them into yew longbows. Fairly straightforward. Way 2: Cut 16,807 yew logs and buy/make 16,807 bowstrings and fletch them making an about 9m profit. Now you can make Magic longbows. Congratulations! :D Strategies: Always set out your inventory like this when stringing bows. Do that by right clicking the item and select Withdraw 10, then do the same on the other item, then click 4 times simuleantously and repeat on the first item you chose. It will benefit you a lot and save you heaps of time. Here is a little price guide on the items I stated above. Arrow Shaft: 5-10gp each Willow Logs: 30-50gp each Yew Longbow: 550gp each Magic Longbow: 1000-1200gp each Remember to always be firm with your price when selling. Below is a list of the profitable alched bows. Yew Longbow: 768gp Magic Shortbow: 960gp Magic Longbow: 1536gp Thanks to Richy for showing me a better way to arrange the bows and bowstrings. ilya
First of all welcome. second of alli don't wana tell you this but ur guide is not vrey god because. it doesn't explain much and there are way better guides with mroe inforamtion. pictures, excamples adn all that. i think you guide is very pointless but add some info. but i wouldn't bother unless u know a way to fletch that nobody else does. but if it is asme as othersi don't see a point in posting this. no hard feeling. add my killer gm if u wana talk.bye

kelvin596826
Fletching is easy. It just needs time and the right resources to do it. If you had 7m and bought all the logs you could get your fletching to 99. Trust me. ~Kelvin
nalestom
Oh, come on. Is that realistic? Levle 35 fletchign on normal logs? Thats as real as me being a level 3 noob. I can summarize this in only a few words. Make the best bow you can until level 99. Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?Final Fantasy
death_goat2
Just want to point out that this fletching guide has been made by someone with 80 fletching... i think that is kind of a liberty take when he cane even make mage longs!
Uula
Just want to point out that this fletching guide has been made by someone with 80 fletching... i think that is kind of a liberty take when he cane even make mage longs! Yes... It's better than the last "Guide to Fletching" though, where the writer was 43 fletching.... I don't recommend making Magic longbows, as the logs take ages to buy. But otherwise your guide is pretty correct... At least it doesn't tell us to make magic shorts lvs 80-85  You could write that magic logs are good to buy if you happen to see someone selling a good amount of them for a decent price. They're pretty hard to hunt on the market otherwise... At least that was the case a year ago when I still trained fletching. Please someone correct me if it's changed  But other than that, it's not bad as I already said. Good luck! :)
Bashful
whats the benefit of using this arrangement?
Uula
Oh lol, I didn't pay attention to the stringing thing... It really doesn't say much about how to do it, and I don't understand the setup.. Tell more and I'll comment! :) (You know, I wrote a whole guide on the subject :-$ )

Richy2k0
ok i saw this and decided i needed to comment on ur stringing... FIRST: take 14 bows(u) and 14 Bowstrings Second: take one of ur bow(u) and place it next to the last bs like this: ALternate clicking the bow and the string to get ur inventory like this: Open ur bank (DONT DEPOSIT BOWS) click withdraw all bowstrings and your inventory will look like this: Now deposit the bows: Now withdraw Bows(u) and repeat: If u do this and get used to it u will be able to string SO many bows quicker than any other way u can try it. piman1053
the "9m" profit in #2 is not true; you get just as much cash as gp and the only thing any1 will ever need to know about fletching is: power/buy willows and make unstrungs to 70 and then make yew longs and sell for insane profit
Aneron
Yes... It's better than the last "Guide to Fletching" though, where the writer was 43 fletching.... Yes... It's better than the last "Guide to Fletching" though, where the writer was 43 fletching.... Do you have a problem with people who have 43 fletching, son? :shame: Actually I am trying to use the buy-lots-of-willows-until-70-flething method, but my stupid friend who i hired to cut them is taking forever... he has like 3k after a 2 weeks... with the 1.5k he had to start with I may have to fire him  Anyway, i think its sad the number of people who think that if you have 55 magic and 70 fletching you've got it made. You dont even make a profit... just exp (which is nice... but profit  ). Anyway the method i used was arrow shafts until longbows, longbows until oak longbows, oak longbows until willow longbows, a few willow longbows and I AM WAITING FOR MY FRIEND TO FINISH CUTTING THEM FOR ME! to get me to 70, then yew longs until mage... errr... someone said mage shorts are a bad idea??? Until mage longs then i guess....
Richy2k0
mage shorts = bad... no profit and to expensive... u actually lose money. Im about to be 85 fletching and i will start making mage longs and selling them.... so i get profit and good exp... anywayz yah DONT DO SHORTS OF ANYTHING>

rangerskull
Might have already been posted but: Start off by withdrawing 14 yew longs (u), then withdraw 'all' bowstrings, swap bowstring number 28 with yew long number 14, and click the last 2 spots together... Once you've made all your bows, withdraw 'all' bowstrings, deposit all your yew longs and withdraw 'all' unstrungs and repeat. String castle wars for a 1 click bank. Makes stringing so much faster. And therefore efficient. I'd like to see you solo all three dag kings at once.Easily done with just 2 people.
