What to get in members (equipment)?

Featured Replies

Ok im saving up for members equipment and I need to know how much to get?

Ill get the melee stuff 1st and if I cant afford range and magic Ill just get money with drops.

I have 12m now. This is for a general training equipment not pking. And the ones with more than one thing are the ones I want suggestion for.

This is what I was thinking of, accurate prices would help. Some things have changed alot recently like whips.

Melee

Full torag, opps meant no hams

whip

Obby Cape

Glory/Fury (Idk if fury is worth that much more for some stats with 12m)

Obby Shield/Dragon sq shield (idk how close the def difference is)

Barrows Gloves (black vambs before quest)

Rune Boots

Ring of Wealth/Berserker/Warrior(they cost alot, and rare drops are good)

Melee: Armor: depends on wat u want here. Strength awesome effects or defence. If u want awesome effects: guthan or verac

If you want strength: dharok

Melee: torag...but its spec and hammers are terribible.

obby sheild/d sq r both good, i prefer d tho.

Barrows gloves: amazing

Runeboots: not necessary but somewhat helpful. desert looks good i think.

Wealth/berserker/warrior: neither, charos (a) is the way to go.

range: black d hide.

Magic:

Arhims/mystic

god cape obviously

glory: fury isn't worth it at ur lvl i think,

ancient staff/air staff

I'll try and help with all training areas, but just wanna do melee first.

I can see you're trying to go for more of a defencive type of armor.

Whip (it says 1,900,000gp - 2,000,000gp, but I cannot confirm since the last time I was a member, it was 2.6m)

Torag Helm 225,000gp - 275,000gp

Torag Plate 850,000gp - 900,000gp

Torag Platelegs 400,000gp - 500,000gp

Obby Cape 225,000gp - 250,000gp

Glory/Fury 65,000gp - 80,000gp/4,500,000gp - 4,700,000gp

Obby Shield/Dragon sq 370,000gp - 400,000gp/1,550,000gp - 1,600,000gp

Barrows Gloves

Rune Boots 120,000gp - 150,000gp

Ring of Wealth 45,000gp - 60,000gp

Those are accurate prices of what you're looking for. If I could making some suggestions, I would suggest you get Rune Defender, Climbing Boots, and Ring of Wealth. This might seem like the set that a poor person would take, but I think the slash attack and strength bonus is worth it more then a little bit more of denfece bonus. And personally, I don't find much use in having a 4m+ Ring. But this is up to you.

Edit: For the cape, I guess Obby would be good for starting, but once after some time, go after the Legends Cape  Looks way 1337er :P And then eventually (I'm thinkin' pretty far in the futur) go for Fire Cape \'

Thanks for the prices. I like legends, its just obby is better in every way. And eventually fire is even most 1337

Np mate.

It really depends on the kinda set-up you're goin' for. Then again, what you could do is wear Legends while skilling or something, then Obby for training.

Basicly, one of the main reasons I don't like Obby Cape is because it's too easy to have, and everone has it (nooby pures included). I guess Legends gives you a better rank. But I guess if you wanna look rich, and have a high defence at the same time, Obby's the way for ya to go 8-)

Edit: Also, I just think it makes the most of your Attack & Strength if you go for Defender and Climbing Boots. Again, it's up to you, but I would only suggest getting a shield and Rune Boots if you plan on increasing you Defence pretty high.

Basicly, at 70 defence, you'll get hit quite a bit no matter what you wear (I don't mean you'll get hit the same if you wear rune or if you wear barrows, just that like 40 more defence bonus doesn't help that much, rather then +20 slash bonus, and +7 more strength bonus), so you might as well make the most of your high strength.

If you going to buy torag but not get hammers, best to also not buy helm and use zerker instead.

"Boredom got me playing, Boredom stops me from playing. It's a vicious cycle."

Head: Berserker helm. It's the only helm that gives a strength bonus, and its stats are about the same as those of a rune full helm. Requires Fremnik trails though.

Necklace: Glory, Fury isn't worth the money unless you're a staker.

Cape: Obby cape is fine, you could consider legends cape but you won't reach 45 hebrlore any time soon.

Plate: Torags plate/ rune plate. Torags isn't necessary unless you're fighting high level creatures like Dust devils. For normal training rune armour is fine.

Legs: See plate

Boots: Rune boots if you want to waste 150k on +12 bonusses, Climbing boots if you like the only boots in the game that offer a strength bonus for only 12gp.

Weapon: Abyssal whip. This should be your first purchase. After that, you could consider doing Lost city for the dds adn Monkey madness for the scimmy.

Shield: Obby shield gives less defence bonusses than the dragon square, but it gives a strength bonus and you need to complete Legends before you can weild the square shield. I'd pick the obby shield here.

Ring: Ring of wealth, the Warrior and zerker rings aren't worth it imo unless you're a staker.

Magic:

Full Ahrims

Range: Black dhide

Retired

2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

mEB said it perfectly

Good Job mEB
