Right click My Computer, left click Properties, left click Hardware, left click Device Manager and double left click on Display adapters. If the correct drivers are installed it should state what you have in there.

If you don't have the drivers installed, download PC Wizard from here and install it. Run it and it'll tell you what your graphics card is in there.

Notoriously Trollish.

In the start menu click on run. And then type in: 'c:\windows\system32\dxdiag[Caution: Executable File]' then OK

I like bees

just type

dxdiag

in the run box

Not all systems have the same directory names/structure ;)

I wouldn't dare tell you what to do m'dear

that won't work if he formated and didn't install the new drivers, and he won't know what drivers to install if he doesn't know what card he has ;P, hence the program, or try your luck on linux.

 lol hopefully he doesn't try to follow this advice XD.

Why, exactly, do you need to know what card you have magemachine6.

Anyways, dxdiag should work. Sometimes right clicking on your desktop, left click on properties and go to the "settings" tab will tell what card you have too.

A simple Windows key + Pause/Break will work. When it comes up just click the hardware tab -> Device Manager.
